My Grandma, Mother, Sister and I have Lipedema, a painful fat disorder which affects our mobility. I have Lipedema Stage 2/3. My feet were collapsing due to the Lipedema. Dr. Amron removed the diseased fat and restored my mobility. He is fantastic Lipedema Surgeon and he cares about his patients.

Lipedema WAL liposuction Dr Amron
Marlene SimpsonJanuary 29, 2016
I have Lipedema Stage 2/3. Prior to my 1st surgery I was leaking lymphatic fluids from behind my knees and under my ankle cuffs. I had a great experience with Dr. Amron. He removed 4.6 liters of fat from my calves and ankles. Healing takes up to 18 months and on February 2, I am having my 2nd surgery on my thighs. Dr. Amron's technique is a circumferential approach. My surgery was necessary to save my mobility. I walked off of the OR table and I was able to wear socks 2 days after surgery. I went back to work 2 weeks after surgery. Lipedma patients have different treatment plans from other patients. My post surgical treatment included massage, compression stockings and exercise. I am very happy with my initial results.

I will. Dr Amron states the healing process is at least one year. Support the Lipedema Project and help Women get treatment.

Lipedema Liposuction surgery 2, thighs
Marlene SimpsonMarch 16, 2016
I had my thigh liposuction surgery on February 2, 2016. Dr. Amron removed 5.5 liters of diseased fat and I am recovering from the surgery. I had a complication when I returned home. Dr. Amron took great care to explain to my Doctors about Lipedema and it's treatment. I am doing well. My painful fat is gone. I recently had to go to San Francisco for a meeting. I was able to walk around North Beach without pain or having to sit down.

Hey there! I had lipedema surgery with Dr. Arno in Dr. Greuner's office in August 2014. Then in October 2015 Dr. Greuner performed another surgery. The swelling takes approx. 18 months to subside. I still have swelling from the lipedema that still remains in my legs. I had several lymphatic massages immediately after the surgery and 2 a week for 3 weeks following the surgery. I feel like I need at least one more surgery. I'm not sure if I will go back to Dr. Greuner or go to Dr. Amron in Beverly Hills. If anyone has had experience with either Doctor , I would love to hear about it.

You look great and I'm glad to hear you are feeling better and are more mobile too. How was your recovery? Did you have to travel to Dr. Amron's office or are you local? I am in NYC and am contemplating seeing him for my lipedema. I would have to fly, and am wondering how I would handle a 6+ hour flight after such a procedure.

I just had lipedema surgery with Dr. Byrd in Roswell Georgia. she was awesome. I have stage 2/3 lipedema. I had my lower legs and entire arms done in one day. 4 days later I had my saddle bags and buttocks done. I still need to do my upper legs. I am out 1 month post surgery and loving my results so far
