I recently turned 40, and I felt like my eyes were looking tired and haggard, no matter how much rest I got. I also have hereditary drooping in my upper-eyelids from the brow bone that has made me pretty self-conscious, as I work in the beauty industry and want to look the part. I wanted to find a non-invasive, affordable cosmetic procedure that would make me look more well-rested, and Botox was the best fit for my needs.
I received an excellent recommendation from a friend who has been a patient of Dr. Dhir's for years, and I'm so happy that I listened to her. I was a little nervous since it was my first time with injectables, but after I met Dr. Dhir, I knew I was in great hands. He gave me a wonderful, thorough consultation, and he really listened closely to me to make sure I would get the natural, refreshed look I wanted.
To be honest, I'm terrified of needles -- but both Dr. Dhir and his assistant Gladys definitely made me feel very comfortable with the process. And the needles? They were no big deal! Dr. Dhir was so gentle, I didn't even flinch. It was quick and painless.
I'm now 12 days post-Botox, and I haven't been this happy with the way my eyes look in years! My crow's feet on the outside corners of my eyes are nearly undetectable, but I still have natural expression around my eyes. The little bit of Botox he put in my brows also gives a slightly lifted look that's still very natural. I can see more of my eyelids now, when I could hardly see any before because of the drooping, which made wearing eye makeup difficult. Now, I can see a little bit of crease too, which makes me really happy, and I'm able to wear eye makeup without worry again!
I could not be happier with my experience and results. I feel more confident in my appearance, people tell me I look really refreshed, and I love the way my eyes look now. I will absolutely be a repeat patient. I'm so glad I found Dr. Dhir! I received exactly the results I wanted. I will be back to see him to treat the lines under my eyes in the future, and maintain my Botox as well.
