How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Scar, what scar? I can’t even begin to guess...

Scar, what scar? I can’t even begin to guess where the incision began! (I couldn’t believe my eyes.) Are you sure you didn’t just wave a magic wand Dr. Barrett?

Dr. Barrett said I was a good candidate for a periareolar incision (under the nipple). Specifically, at the outer edge of the areola which makes for a natural camouflage! At 4 weeks post up, evidence of incision was virtually non-existent. Practically invisible, barely a nick. How? Why? Here’s what I think:

1. Keller Funnel – a device that allows for a smaller incision = less trauma
2. Layers upon layers of sutures – not just 2 or 3. But 4 layers! and all Dr. Barrett’s stitches are UNDER the skin
3. Weekly post-op visits – Dr. Barrett makes a commitment to monitor you closely for a successful recovery

I am certain that this gem of a surgeon will be the hottest ticket in town.
