My experience is not going so great ;( my doctor won't tell me the truth about my nose, he only keeps asking me to write a review for him so every time I ask him a question, he just says it's perfect and asks me to write a review. I don't know what to do anymore. I feel that the lateral wall if my nose has collapsed a little. My nose is asymmetric, when I take pics, the right nostril looks lower than the left. I'm 5 weeks postop and I know it's too early to tell, but I've been looking at other noses and I couldn't find anyone with nostrils looking like mine from underneath. And the ones that do turned out to have lateral wall collapse. I'm very worried because I don't have the money to redo the surgery and my doctor wouldn't tell me anything or explain to me whats going on, he only cares about the review ;/

Tell him you won't do a review unless he answers your questions! What a rude doctor! Anyway your nose still looks cute from what I cna see and is definitely not noticeable. Hopefully there's no breathing problems!

Mine looks a little like that from the bottom. I started sleeping with my cast on and it helped

my nose kind of looked like yours....I had an open roof deformity. I think 5wks is really early to tell, but I had uneven nostrils and my nose looked like it lilted to the left. When you touch the bridge, it should be like a tent, not flat. If the top is flat, you may have open roof. I just fixed mine with Dr. Srour in Beverly Hills for $4,000, so there is hope if you do end up needing a revision!! I will say, though, that it took me almost 1.5yrs to notice the problem because of the swelling!! Stay strong you cant tell just yet!

Hello, sorry this is very late response. Dr. Geoffrey Keys in Beverly hills is the one that did my surgery. After I mentioned the uneven nostrils to him which are very obvious, He said but look at the side, it looks good. He completely disregarded my concerns and since then the office avoids any contact with me. I regret not doing my research on him before I choose to do the surgery. After researching him, i found that he had sadly completely botched another persons nose. On the day of the consultation he offered me a price for the nose job and he said if you leave today without signing the contract then the deal is off the table. the price was still expensive but as a young and naive girl that i was i signed it because i did not know better. I felt so much pressure. I can't breath well from my nose and my nostrils are very uneven now . he took off too much cartilage. This is the least i can do to help anyone out there who is debating to do the surgery with him.

I so hope it's just swelling. 5 weeks post op is so early and swelling is at a maximum. I know you're worried and stressed out so I hope you soon get some good news from your surgeon!

Update 7 years post surgery

Hello, I thought I'd post an update since i saw many people ask me for the doctors name. sorry this is late as I have not logged on since then. His name is Dr. Geofrey Keys in Beverly hills. I thought I'd mention that back then, I mentioned the uneven nostrils to him which are very obvious, He said but look at the side, it looks good. He completely disregarded my concerns. He told me to come back for follow up after the swelling is gone. I called to book a follow up appointment and the secretary everytime i called to book kept saying hes on vacation sorry hes not available. I was not once able to go back in for followup. I regret not doing my research on him before I choose to do the surgery. After researching him, i found that he had sadly completely botched another persons nose. I was remembering back and i came across how on the day of the consultation he offered me a price for the nose job and he said if you leave today without signing the contract then the deal is off the table. the price was still expensive but as a young and naive girl i did not know better, i signed it. I felt so much pressure from him to do so. today 7 years later I can't breath well from my nose and my nostrils are very uneven. he took off too much cartilage. I wish i can have my old nose back at least i was able to breath and I was not afraid to take pictures. now I avoid taking pictures with people since my nose just looks so disfigured. I wanted to write this because it is the least i can do to help anyone out there who is debating to do the surgery with him. Also, If you are young and thinking about the surgery, please wait till you at least in your 20's to decide trust me your view on life will completely change and your love for your self will grow so much more.
I wish your doctor would listen and respond a little better, but uneven swelling is not uncommon after rhinoplasty. Please keep us posted as you continue to heal. It can take months! Virtual hugs and I hope you end up with results you love.
