Dr Yoo has great bedside manner. He also was very skilled with removing my synthetic implant and replacing it with DCF. Aesthetically, however, we were not a match. I had asked for a natural result but ultimately received an overbuilt bridge and tip compared to my more petite, Asian features. I don't regret my experience, but I do wish we communicated more in detail and candidly about the final expectations. Most disappointing is that when I brought up my concerns, I was treated like a new patient. I expected more in terms of quality not quantity (from the outcome and the service.) I hope this is helpful. Regardless of the Dr you choose, communication is key - and not just explaining what you do and do not want, but ensuring the Dr can explain the same and follows through vs. creating what is aesthetically pleasing to them.

Dr. Yoo did my revision 2 years ago. (2 years and 3 months to be exact) It was my 4th revision. He took out my annoying synthetic implant and replaced it with rib cartilage and fascia. In my personal experience, Dr. Yoo was very detailed and clear about what my expectation should be. Although he said NO to every single thing on my wishlist, he actually gave me a much better nose than I thought I would ever have. I truly think he is gifted (most PS didn't want to touch my nose because they thought my implant was too big and I wouldn't be happy with ear or rib)
I'm sorry that @RevisionDecision has to get a revision. I've had 4 surgeries in the past 11 years and I know how that feels. Good luck with your revision and be positive!

I didn't write a review for Dr. Yoo yet (even after 2 years!) because I'm not brave enough to share my pictures but your comment makes me want to write one!
Anyway, at 4 months you are wayyyy too early in your recovery. It's supposed to look overdone because of the swelling. Even at 6 months, my tip still looked like a ball, bridge too wide and I felt like the whole thing was just too much for my face. I remember I was hurt and depressed by what people said about my nose and how I look mixed and blah blah. Trust me...even my mother said I should have left the implant alone. My swelling went down very slowly and I started to like my nose around 8 months. Then, I liked it a little more each day. I stopped caring about what others said, stopped reading every single comment on RS and just focused on myself. I think drinking lots of fluid helps tremendously.
I'd say just worry less and enjoy this recovery journey. I've done it 4 times and I finally learned that lesson after the last one. Good luck with your recovery and think positive.
