I can finally see! My vision was 20/200 I was really struggling to see things at any distance. I would run into things, mistake people I thought I knew, had to wear glasses while driving, embarrassed to admit I couldn't read the board during my college lectures. It was such an emotionally difficult thing to live with. But thank you God I can finaly see!
The proceedure was a little scary but I had faith in my doctor. There was some irritating rough feeling immediately following the procedure but not too bad.
It took three days after the procedure where most of the discomfort faded away and I could experience the change. Once I saw the difference I cried because my nightmare was over. Thank you Dr.Rabinowitz!

Dr. Rabinowitz was truely on my side and no pressure to make a choice on proceeding with PRK operation. I eventually did decide to do it and I do not regret it at all! Doctor was also considerate of pain management after surgery and proscribed appropriate medication.

Any issues with dry I resolve themselves within the first three weeks for me. However, I was warned by my ophthalmologist that dry I may be a continued symptoms post surgery. You may want to reach out to your ophthalmologist and see if you can get help. I recommend prescription strength eyedrops, the brand that I used was called "oasis tears. "
