How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

I got the Picosure because the doctor at the clinic recommended it for my hyperpigmentation. I have several spots on my face that I wanted removed.

Pros: I noticed that with scars that were more recent (within the last couple years or less), from acne scars, they lifted a lot better. The pigmentation on my face from childhood onward, not so much. So if you've got recent acne pigmentation, it could be worth it.

Cons: The spots that I really wanted gone, are still there (see under my eyes at the corners). I imagine having more treatments would help. Its $680 per treatment (and I think I got a discount). I might find another provider, because my doctor is in Beverly Hills and I'm sure its more expensive here than in another town.

Provider Review

Mastaneh Haykani, PA-C

The woman (Mastaneh, PA) who performed my procedure was very nice and made sure I was very comfortable during my procedure. I had forgotten that it was my last treatment on the fourth round, and it was a bit of a surprise that she didnt have any follow-up after the last procedure. I think it was a very busy day.
