I met with Dr. Ellenbogen and his coordinator, Jenna, yesterday afternoon. The office is a few hours from where I live, and I was running about 30 minutes late for my appointment. Jenna had coorosponded with me previously to confirm my apointment via text, so I texted her that I was running late (very convenient method of communication) She was so kind and flexible, as she did not make me feel bad at all. When I arrived, I was brought in immediately with zero was time. Jenna took some photos of me and then Dr. Ellenbogen came in to make an assessment. Dr. First looked at my face directly and tested the elasticity of my skin in different areas. Due to the unusual amount of laxity in my skin for someone my age, Dr. Recommended a mini-vertical facelift focusing mostly on neck, and basically all-over fat grafting. My facial images were then uploaded into a large computer screen where Dr. Was able to show me what areas he felt could be improved, and how I would (hypothetically) look after my recommended procedure. He explained that he did not want to take too much skin as I would look stretched...he said that what he does is little nips and tucks where it's needed, combined with added volume, for a most natural look. He showed me also how my scars would be virtually invisible ir undetectable. I have actually had fat grafting done by Dr. Ellenbogen in the past (8 years ago) and it looked amazing and lasted several years! I trust this surgeon a lot, I know first-hand that he is an artist and a caring person. He made me at ease, he was not pushy or rude in any way at all. I'm really optimistic about this procedure!! I will post pictures soon...

How long was your recovery, and how long did you have to take off work? Also if you don't mind me asking, can you give us a ballpark of what you paid? I'd like to have this done myself
10K, with one week recovery but not really presentable until 12 days. I took two weeks off from work, totally worth everything I sacrificed

Two weeks post-op

It felt so good to get my stitches pulled out today they were starting to itch little bit. The incisions are virtually undetectable and the swelling has gone down quite a bit but I am still a bit plump. The doctor says in one or two more weeks I will look even better...I'm very happy with my results!!! MTF soon
