I apologize for the delayed response here with photos but I have been traveling and haven't been back for my post-op photos. I decided to just take some myself so you all can see my progress. I am super happy with it still and you can see there are scars but they are fading really fast. My weight is still around the same (within a lb. or lb and a half max) as before the surgery. I don't think the photos quite give justice to how nice my shape actually is but I am alone and using a computer and bad lighting so hope it helps you ladies a bit!

I just turned 35 years old and decided to have liposuction after a lot of very serious research, searching for the right doctor and Dr. David Amron ended up being my choice as a surgeon since he has a ton of experience, he doesn't sell anything and so obviously cares about his work. In my opinion, he is the best in LA hands down. I spent serious time researching the procedure itself, medical journals, Real Self and blogs, forums and magazines etc. I then met with multiple surgeons all over LA to ask lots of questions and make sure I knew the risks, downtime, expectations for results and costs.
Dr. David Amron sculpted my flanks, upper back, upper and lower abdomen and I came out same day with no pain, little inconvenience from the surgery and actually was at work the day after next. I have heard others had bruising and heavy swelling etc but I have to say - my mom stayed with me for the surgery and post - and I looked amazing within a few days! My waist has never been so defined and little and I feel like my body is shaped like a models now which certainly never was the case before. I know that I will still see more results as I am only a little over 4 months - but I would be happy with my results now. He sculpted my perfect shape and I have never been so happy with such a serious choice. My mom is even considering lipo (with Dr. Amron) now because it was such a simple and pleasant experience. I do think everyone should take time to understand what they are walking into - and make sure they choose the right doctor - not procedure. Dr. David Amron is amazing if you are in the LA area. His staff is really nice and his nurses are extremely professional which put me at ease.
I am happy to answer any questions too off line for anyone that is considering the procedure. I will also ask for my before photos and post with after at my next follow up appointment.

I'm so glad everything went well and you got the results you were looking for! Are you still happy with your results, now it's been another couple of months post-op?
We'd love to see a before/after photo, if you have any you feel comfortable sharing.

Hi Kirsty, Thank you for the welcome. This community is so great for making such important decisions and not feeling alone with questions we might not feel comfortable asking otherwise. I keep forgetting to ask for my photos so please forgive the delay but will email them today and put up hopefully by next week at the latest. I am THRILLED with my results. I have a whole new body and I was happy with my shape etc before - but now it is truly proportionately perfect. I am getting so many compliments from friends who do not know I had work done - so it looks amazing but also natural which was really important to me. I have absolutely no regrets and couldn't be happier! My mom came with me and she is now thinking about getting lipo as well with Dr. Amron after seeing my results and knowing the process was really easy (for surgery - assuming anyone going into it has realistic expectations when being cut open of course).

I'm so glad you're still enjoying your results and wow, your mom also considering it is definitely a testement to how effective it was for you!
Looking forward to seeing your pics! It's awesome that so many people, like you, share their stories, but I also think that sometimes photos speak a thousand words and then you get to really picture the difference it has made to someone!

Alw, you really do look great!!! I am considering Dr. Amron also. Can you tell me what kind of lipo you had? Was it just tumescent or Smart lipo or something else? Thanks again for your review! I hope my results can come close to yours!!

He did a wonderful job. I only had my upper and lower abs done - certainly not the results you had. My PS did not take out enough fat and needless to say, I will have to have a revision to even get where I want to be. Happy for you and your results.
