I am a plastic surgery virgin, so when I decided I needed a little tweaking (as you cant get super flat abs in your 40's, even if you are working out and eating right) , I decided that I need to find the best place to do that .
The goal was 1) great results 2) minimally invasive procedure - didn't mind paying the extra bucks but I wanted to go to the best in business.
So I flew out and met Dr Yovino (very good bedside manner) and was convinced that if I go for Lipo, then I need to do this special kind of lipo which is touted as something that you will recover from in a month rather than 6 months to a year (check out their website) . Everything was painted so rosy, and I fell for it .
I also thought , while he taking out this fat, might as well put in my hips/butt, nothing huge but a little fat wouldnt hurt .
The procedure itself wasn't hard, I had a friend take me to the hotel and I slept after, but issues started the next day. I had a 103 fever and my whole body was hurting . To spare you the details- This continued on for days and was sheer and pure torture, especially as I had to travel back . Once I removed the garment I saw that I had developed some kind of a rash and redness and swelling all over - I ran to my dermatologist and he said that I could have some major infection.
Then consulted the team again and Dr Y put me on prednisome - which finally got the fever and swelling dowm . So the question is why did i have a fever in the first place ? No one talked about any kind of infection and fever ? So whoever said 1 month to see the results is lying through their teeth- you totally buy into that cause you see pics of a model who had the surgery, romping around a bikini 3 weeks after the procedure. Maybe they were given some special care, maybe Dr Rollins is better than Dr Yovino, maybe they should stop painting this rosy picture in front of everyone
I fully plan to upload the pics on real self and will add a link here. It was a journey from hell.
The procedure took place 9 months ago and I waited to post this with the hope that the final results will negate all the [RS bleep] I went through.
1) Abs still not flat .. and the fiber still swells up majorly if I touch a little bit of salt .
2) I wanted bigger hips and some placed in the butt - ZERO, I repeat ZERO result for that .
Everything he put in is GONE!!!
3) I was a 129 lbs when we did the surgery , I am a 135 now - I still eat the same / workout the same . Why is that??
I even spent money on endomologie session but still not the results I was promised (Dr Y had said that you will be happier than most people when you see your results )
I have always had skinny super toned arms - and I feel that I have gained weight in my back and upper arms . Ladies beware of that !!!
Total damage was 14K but all the expenses going back n forth / hotel plus endolomologie session were almost 18 K. is it wrong to expect great results after spensing so much mney and going thru so much torture???
I was in touch with the office, they were being nice (but it seemed they were hoping that one day i will get tired of it all and just go away, which kind of happened ) they wanted me to come in for evaluation - but before I spend more money I want to know what my options are . I am NOT going for another surgery - and go through this traumatic experience again .
I want part of my money back as I see minimal results from one procedure and ZERO results from the other I mentioned that to the coordinator - but she pretty much did not respond to that .
They say a picture speaks more than a 1000 words, will be uploading the pics soon . I was late in writing this , but I think that anyone evaluating these guys needs to know the complete truth
