This is my second surgery with Dr. Lee, this time...

This is my second surgery with Dr. Lee, this time involving Lip implants with Surgisil/Permalip. The procedure was done under local anesthetic and had little to no discomfort during surgery. The only thing I felt during the procedure was a little moving and that's about it, no pain whatsoever. Surgisil involves the placement of two silicone implants running the length of the lip, in this case, top and bottom. It took about an hour to complete and involves dissolvable sutures.

Dr. Lee being the master craftsman that he is ,gave me the exact look I wanted to achieve with the implants, a fuller definition to my lips without the trout pout or duck bill look that so many people get with injections. I am so very happy with the results and would DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone!

I am extremely happy with the results, just the width, height and definition I wanted.

I think you results are lovely. Have you had a hard time eating or smiling during recovery?

Thank you very much :) Yeah I am VERY happy with them. the first two days I was more comfortable eating soft foods that don't involve allot of chewing, by the third day I could eat normally, just nothing I had to open my mouth wide for. Smiling was hard for maybe the first few days, but nothing serious :)

If you consider how much injections cost over time, it is well worth the investment, looking back on it, if I was charged 20 grand and knew I would have gotten the same results, I would have still went for it.

I could not agree more. Totally affordable when you consider a lifelong commitment to injections, and the fact that w/ injections your look is constantly changing depending on the injector and how quickly they reabsorb. Excellent investment. We're worth it.

over a year after surgery.
No shifting, lip rings did not effect anything, kept in or later taken out.

I just called and scheduled a consultation with Dr. Lee, I'm just little scared that they might shift. Any problems since you had them done?

Not at all, still there, still in place :) Dr. Lee did an amazing job at making the implant the exact length of my lip, so I would only imagine it would be impossible to shift. Dr. Lee is not going to allow you to go untreated and uncorrected if they do, so don't be scared :) you will be in great hands :)

What size did the doc use? Top and bottom? 4 or 5?
