I am a recovery alcoholic who got sober when I was 29. I was 16 when I started drinking heavily and frequently, for a myriad of reasons. While sobriety has changed my life, I discovered as time went by that I had lost more than a decade to fragmented memories and alcoholic black-outs. In my 30's and early 40's I dealt with the fact that when I looked in the mirror I saw a man who looked older than the age I felt I was on the inside. However, as the years crept by I was at the point of really disliking the man I saw in my reflection. He looked tired, overworked, and obviously had skin damage due to many youthful years of sun-bathing. I looked up procedures online and saw the "Lifestyle Lift" in my search engine and recalled the info-mercials I had seen on television. I called, went in for a consultation, and then did other research with Plastic Surgeons recommended to me by my dermatologist. At the time, I wanted to try to something less invasive and so settled on Botox treatment for my forehead and around my eyes. While I genuinely enjoyed the results, I still had what I thought of as jowls, wattle neck, and loose skin from my cheekbones down to my collar bones. Once again I hit my search engine and began reading the reviews of those who had followed through and gotten the "Lifestyle Lift". I was ready. I was also blessed to get a consultation with Dr. Malcom Paul, out of Beverly Hills, who had over 40 years of private practice under his surgical belt. He was attentive, understood what I was looking to correct, and explained what he would be doing in detail and what I could expect with the results. By the time my surgery rolled around I was more than ready, and actually quite eager to have Dr. Paul work his surgical magic. I had the general "Lifestyle Lift" as well as a practical eye-lift suggested by Dr. Paul. One month later, I can honestly say it was the best thing I've done for myself since getting sober almost 20 years ago. Dr. Paul managed to turn back the clock nearly 15 years and I see the man I feel I am, and look the age I feel when I look in the mirror. Those lost years in my alcoholism are now truly lost and not showing on my face and neck. If you are thinking of having a procedure done then I cannot recommend "Lifestyle Lift" and Dr. Malcom Paul enough. My research convinced me it is the most cost effective procedure and Dr. Paul is a maestro and magician. No more jowls, no more turkey neck, no more droopy eyes, no more tired and listless images reflected in my mirror. I am truly a new man and love the man I see in the mirror!

What's different about you?

How wonderful it is to hear these questions. What's different about you? Did you get a different haircut? Have you lost weight? You look so happy. You look great! 2 months after my surgery and the results keep getting better. As the last of the surgical swelling disappeared the questions and comments have gotten more numerous. As I took time off from work and school to have the procedure done and allow me some healing time, my friends, co-workers, school chums, and family continue trying to pinpoint why I look so refreshed and cheerful. I'm so glad that I had the Lifestyle lift done. As to the source of the questions and comments, I can safely say that it has occurred to no one that I had plastic surgery. Not that I would particularly care, but I am more than happy to shrug and smile in answer. It contrast, I've noticed that I do look younger than my friends and family members who are near my own biological age. Time has marched across most of our faces, and left tracks behind, but I am no longer the dirt road with the most ruts. I'm the new Interstate blacktop! My sincerest thanks to Dr. Paul and everyone at Lifestyle life for forever changing my life. I am a happy man.
