Laser Liposuction with Dr. Dass. Detailed Review with Pictures - Beverly Hills, CA

I am a 35 year old mother of two preteens residing in LA area. I am about 20 lb. overweight and most of those pounds are in my waist/stomach area. I used to be very thin before kids, but gained a lot of weight after my second one. I would really like to transform my upper body (waist, back, sides). Deciding on the doctor took me awhile. I considered many doctors : Dr. Hansen (because of the reviews on realself), Dr. Hughes (reviews and credentials), and Dr. Dass. I quickly stopped considering Dr. Hansen because if turned out that he is not certified in plastic surgery, I believe his certification is in dermatology. At the same time I decided against Dr. Yoho from Pasadena for the same reason. He was certified in emergency medicine, not plastic surgery . If I am going to do plastic surgery, I should as well do it with a certified plastic surgeon. Dr. Hughes seemed like a perfect match, but after my consultation and several emails back and force I decided against him. Despite Dr Hughes`s credentials, his experience, and amazing before/after pictures the negatives outweighed the positives for me. All of these factors affected my decision : tiny waiting room overcrowded with people, really worn interior, unpleasant/jealous of Dr. Hughes Dr. Boris ( yes Dr. Boris is really jealous of Dr. Hughes and he did not like the fact that I requested to talk to Dr. Hughes even after he told me that Dr. Hughes works with him and they were one team) , pushy Adam, pushy lady who is responsible for final price estimate (might be Adams mom). Dr. Hughes was the only pleasant person there. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything, took his time. His before/after pictures were amazing. I tried to look beyond shabby looking office, unpleasant Dr. Boris, and fake Adam, but I could not ignore the fact that Dr. Hughes performs all of his procedures under general anesthesia and does not work with local at all. I believe that each case is different and if a surgery with local anesthesia will give you the same end result as the surgery performed under general anesthesia, then why would I go under general anesthesia and raise various risks and side effects associated with general anesthesia. 5 liters of fat with general anesthesia or 5 liters of fat with local anesthesia? I prefer local. Dr. Hughes does not offer body liposuction with local anesthesia.
Dr. Dass has nice before/after pictures, judging by other reviews his patients are less bruised than Dr. Hughes`s patients, he offers both general and local anesthesia and decides on what is more beneficial for a particular case, has beautiful/clean office, practically no wait time, and the appointments are scheduled meticulously- you will see other patients only on your way out of the office or on the way in, you won`t have to sit in a waiting room with a bunch of other patients. Dr. Dass is certified in plastic surgery, just like Dr. Hughes, but I have to point out that Dr. Hughes graduated Harvard, and Dr. Dass`s credentials are not as prestigious (subjective opinion, I might be wrong here:)) .
