Day 2 post op

I had my first shower this morning and when I took off my garment my hump is totally gone!!! It's still a bit swollen in some areas but what a huge difference. The incision area is pretty small and I am no longer leaking - I think It stopped the day after my surgery. There is still some soreness in my back area but not too bad. After my shower I placed a new pad near the wound (just in case ) and positioned the foam on top of it and wore my compression garment. I am looking forward to the final result but I can already tell that it's going to look flat and amazing.

Day 1 post op

I woke up this morning feeling sore - nothing too crazy but I definitely feel it. I will probably take some ibuprofen in a bit other than that I feel perfectly normal. I've been walking around my house with no issues. I am looking forward to a fast recovery and amazing results.
I will update as much as I can with the recovery process because I found that there's a good amount of before and after pics / initial reviews but not much on the healing process. Hopefully this will help someone who is interested in this procedure.
P.S. please excuse the weird grammar/words from the initial review - autocorrect and pain meds make for an interesting choice of words.

So I've always had a small hump at the base of neck and I've always been embarrassed about it so I never really put my hair up or wear halter tops/swimwear that tie at the neck because the straps would always land just on top of the hump and feel uncomfortable / slightly painful. 2 years ago i decided to do some research and get it removed and back then there weren't that many doctors who had before and after photos of the procedures and a lot them did not really perform this procedure that much. Anyways fast forward to now and I found Dr Justin Yovino who has the most pics/videos of this procedure, he has amazing reviews from is patients and is office is 7mins way from my place. I booked a consultation and was really nervous and sweating but he made me feel at ease and was very thorough in explaining the whole procedure . His staff was also very accommodating and made sure to schedule my appointment at the most convenient time for me.

I literally just came home from my procedure and I feel great. This was all done under local anesthesia and I barely felt any discomfort. The only thing you'll feel is the initial numbing part but it's no worse that getting Botox shots. During the procedure he talks you through every step so you're always aware of what is going on. I'm the chatty type so I must have asked a bunch of random questions to which he and his nurse Joanne responded to patiently and with humor. I also enjoyed watching all the fat getting sucked out and I have to say that if I ever had to get another lipo done I would very much prefer to be awake .

I will be Updating my progress in the next few days
