I wanted to get rid of my under eye hollows and believed that Dr Emer would be able to help me. When we met in his office he said that filler will be perfect to fix my hollows and after two weeks I will see unbelievable results. It turns out to be a total disaster. I had lumps under eyes for 3 months and i couldn't cover it even with a heavy make up. I was so upset and disappointed . I was crying every night. In my opinion Dr Emer definitely doesn't represent Beverly Hills standards. I got no help from him after i raised my concerns and told him that i am not happy with the results. I had to find qualified facial plastic surgeon to get help. I learnt that many dermatologists (like dr Emer) do fillers because its quick and easy money but when it comes to fillers we should always look for facial doctors as they know face anatomy and how to inject properly. I learnt my lesson

What doctor did you go see to get his fixed?

I went to see facial plastic surgeon. Believe me any facial surgeon is better than dermatologist ( like dr Emer should NOT perform any injectables as he doesn't know facial anatomy)

Is the price you listed correct? That's an OUTRAGEOUS amount for a filler. It's like 10 times the price you normally pay..

Yes! thats how much they charged me to mess up my face

For JUST filler? HOW? I'm shocked. That's the price of a surgery, lol. How were you supposed to maintain any good results if you'd have to get a refill every year?

Same happened to me with a plastic surgeon. Yes easy money and he don't care about it... Exactly like you.

Hello!.. i have the same problem. I’m very upset. Did you get this fixed? I don’t know what to do. Thank you

Go to any board certified facial plastic surgeon. They will help as they only take care of face and nothing else. Please remember that any licensed physician can legally call himself a cosmetic surgeon, regardless of their qualifications. This is a trap that led me to see dr Emer (my biggest mistake ever)

Dear Vanessa,

We appreciate for your feedback and are deeply sorry that you are not satisfied with the results of your treatment. While we strive for minimal downtime for all of our patients, the recovery time ultimately depends on the individual's health. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

I found an answer from this doctor in a patient Q/A about hyaluronidase, and based on his answer, I do not think this doctor is well informed. In answering a question regarding whether this enzyme could affect natural hyaluronic acid, Dr. Emer responded saying that hyaluronidase was the wrong pH to affect native HA. However, this enzyme was specifically designed to to increase the dispersion of injected drugs by cleaving the links between compounds in human skin, reducing viscosity of natural HA, and increasing tissue permeability. Affecting natural tissue IS THE WHOLE POINT of hyaluronidase. It was not designed to dissolve synthetic fillers and is not approved by the FDA for that purpose.

thats ridiculous as if you paid that much. I hope you get a refund, or they better fix t for free... Not okay thats wayy too much to pay, especially if they aren't even a facial plastic surgeon.

I also received a poor outcome from. my injections from Dr Emer. I received Sculptra injections in my cheeks, and I was left with terribly uneven placement. My right side is noticeably different from my left. Dr Emer also did not even massage the products himself but asked someone else in the room to do it - on the exact side that is wrong no less. When I asked to come in and be seen, I was denied and told to find another provider. This was only after I declined to buy another round of thousands of dollars in skincare products upsells. Please do not trust your face to Dr Emer.
