I have always had a very high hairline (no hair loss) and I've always been extremely self conscious of my forehead. I wore bangs my entire life to hide it. I'm not chasing perfection, it that was the case, there are plenty other procedures I could have had done. However, as someone who loves working out, running, etc. I didn't want to continue feeling so self conscious about how I looked when my hair was pulled back (and my bangs were pinned back...because let's be honest..who really wants sweat soaked bangs on their face?) I'm looking forward to not feeling self conscious when the wind blows my bangs back, or how I feel after I go swimming.. or even getting out of the shower when my hair is wet and slicked back. I'm excited not to feel like I have to "hide" something that has always made me uncomfortable. I am also an interesting candidate for this procedure because I have relatively fine hair and a cowlick (which is not a good thing for this procedure).

Hi how much did you get lowered ? Was this one stage or with scalp expander? Such a big difference you look so good :) I also have fine hair more than your a I was wandering if you had any hair loss after procedure

Thank you so much. He was able to lower it about 3.5 cm. This was a one stage (I did not want to do a scalp expander). I did have some shock hair loss (near the incisions on the upper sides of my head but nothing really major. I can already see the hairs starting to grow back in.

Amazing results, please keep us updated because I've been looking for someone who has not a high hairline but a prominent forehead like mine, to have this procedure done. You look great.

Thank you! I plan to post pictures in another week and a half or so (that'll be about a month out from having the sutures removed) and then I'll try to do every 30 days or so.

Your results look great! Did you have much pain after surgery?

September 8, 2015
For about 3 days after I was very swollen. I typically sleep on my side, but I had to learn to sleep on my back which was a bit tougher than I thought. I chose not to take the prescription pain pills because they made me feel really sick (even when taken with food). I stuck with Advil to keep the swelling down. In terms of pain after the first 72 hours, it wasn't too bad-- I did have some headaches that the Advil helped to take care of as well. After I got the stitches out, I felt absolutely fine.

When were you able to fully move your eyebrows and sqint? And did it feel tight towards your temples when the incision ended?
