So happy I did this surgery!!
I flew from Canada which concerned me since there is no cosmetic medical insurance and I did my consultation over the phone. For months I emailed Faye his receptionist constantly with questions and concerns and she was amazing always responding promptly. I was very comfortable with Dr. Aharonov he was great I researched him for months before I made the surgery date and was very happy with my decision. Everyone at the surgery center was really good too there was not one moment were I was 2nd guessing my decision.

I had my surgery 10 days ago I had the staples and stitches in for 6 days and its been 4 days out now. Immediately after I actually felt great was walking around out at the condo I rented with a friend who took care of me until about 11 pm is when some of the pain started to begin so I took the pain meds at that point. The next 2 days was all icing, vitamins and pain meds slept elevated and ate really good organic food no issues at all and look wise my forehead was swollen only to me and hurt to touch, had bruising on my temples back of neck and 1 eye but the bruising only lasted a few days and was easily covered with makeup and sunglasses. I still went out during the first few days which was very draining and hurt a lot to wear a headband cause of the staples a loose hat is much better the 4th day all my energy was normal.

I have extremely thin fine hair which was a big concern for me also, Dr Aharonov removed 3 centimeters and already this was one of the best decisions I could have made. I would definitely recommend to stay the 6 days and have the stitches and staples removed by Dr, Aharonov if you are out of town. My scalp was very tight to move forward which is why I think I have so much pain in the back of my head even now it still hurts to sleep this is the only time I will take pain medication if needed or a bunch of very soft pillows makes a big difference. I definitely have to buy new ones now that I have returned home. There is a lot of pain where the staples where at the top side of my head and the sides hurt a lot from the numbing needle I believe? The top of my scalp is numb which is more annoying and weird feeling and my whole scalp is swollen slightly not to the point where anyone would notice only myself and I can tell because of how my hair looks thinner. The scar itself now that the stitches are removed actually looks really good I expected worse it still has bit of scabbing across its light and pink in colour which I think will last another week its very thin and because my hair was very thin in the front the hair that replaced it looks double the density so that's a big plus.

My face like I said was really not that bad look wise, The first wk my forehead was very sore and a swollen a bit with light bruising also the top of my eyes and my temple area had swelling, pain if touched and the bruising was darker in these areas . Washing and putting lotion my face hurt but it has gotten better but still feels stiff and I'm very slow and take my time to wash and take care of my whole face and scalp area.

I'm extremely happy that I did this now and didn't wait. My fiancé was against it and my friend thought I was crazy cause they thought I was already beautiful to begin with (not being conceited) but they look at it now even in the healing stages and are very impressed already what a difference it has made to my face. Its like a nose job a little alteration can go a long ways look wise even if you think the person does not need it. Also any wrinkles that were beginning are no longer there since they were at the top of my forehead and is now removed which is another bonus, because I'm still swollen a bit it looks like I got botox.

Only thing left to mention is I thought I was going to look much worse. When I arrived the next day to get the bandages removed faye was surprised how I had very little swelling and bruising(The bruising was yellowish with bit purple not dark at all). The scar I thought was going to be very noticeable I was wrong on both. I have not tried putting makeup on the scar as of yet I wear a headband every time I want to wait till all the scabbing bits have come off before applying makeup. I'm healing great but its also because I'm vegan and eat all organic raw foods which I think helped in my recovery big time. I did under estimate what a serious surgery this is when I think about it but I'm so extremely happy and cant wait for the next few wks to come. Everyday it seems it gets better and better... Sorry broke my phone I'm getting another one shortly I will add pics.
