WORTH IT$5,000
I did before and afters- ughh- can't believe that was me... I remember that I didn't want to look at myself in the mirror anymore. So I took a chance and so happy that I did! I still don't lay on my face, I have a small neck pillow I use. Plus a silk pillowcase. Its so funny because every morning I get up and I look in the mirror, just to make sure that its really is me looking back at myself and not the worn down one! And yes.. I'm back!! Hugs-

Wow you look gorgeous! It seems that the fat stayed. Did you get any additional retouch?

Yes I had a revision done a year later- but it was much easier to recover the 2nd time!! I already knew I was going to need it !

Thanks doll! Yes, My fat transfer was 2 1/2 years ago after about 1yr I did lose about 30% of the transfer... Which is totally normal, & because I work out so much it does factor into it. Dr K did a minor touch-up of a fat transfer a year later. it wasn't nearly half as much and bad as the first time...the recovery was much faster!! I was pretty bad so I already knew and was ready for a 2 round procedure- so worth it!

You do look amazing! I’m having my first in less than a week and am nervous about the healing and the predictability of the fat. Reading so many reviews to help prepare myself. I truly hope I have the same result. Did you do your forehead at all and what were the changes to your skin, if any? A lot of people note improved texture/tone.

Hi- I'm so happy that your doing this for yourself! I did around the temples, all the way underneath the eyes to the tear ducts, and the nasal flaps. Did not need the forehead. I didn't really notice any difference in the texture of my skin- what I did notice and love is the rosiness in my cheeks, which creates a more youthful appearance! It's like I have a natural Glow to my skin and that's nice because I don't have to wear a lot of makeup now! My cheeks were deflated and now they are full but they were never overfilled to change any appearance. hope that helps and if you have any more questions let me know!

Thank you so much, I am getting the same areas done! I am hoping I am moderately presentable after a week or two! To answer your question below: my donor sites are supposedly going to be my stomach, flanks and thighs. I don't have much fat so unfortunately have to have multiple sites to get enough.

wow looks great x

You look SO gorgeous! Your results helped me to make my decision. I had my fat transfer done February 14, 2019 and I’m still a little swollen and bruised. Will post pics soon. I’m really happy to hear the touch up was easier than the initial. While I didn’t really have any pain at all it was very hard to be patient with the healing process.
March 26, 2019
Wow! Over a month with remaining swelling and bruising. I will be so interested to read your story. I have my transfer on 4/1 so would love any tips!

Thanks sweetie, I'm so happy I could help you out! Your going to LOVE it! I remember having major headaches and soreness- but it took me about 6 weeks to be back to 100 Percent. Reminder that your face is still settling and you will see the full results around month 4- ohh and don't forget to drink lots of water, it will help those new fat stem cells!! Xo

Hi @Kmj - hoping you will respond to my questions above. Thank you!!

I had bruising for about 3 weeks and swelling that slowly went down around 5 weeks. Around week 2 I did go out to lunch with my husband.. I did feel like I had chipmunk cheeks but it wasn't that bad where it held me back. I did experience constant pressure in my cheeks for about 6 weeks but Advil helped me out with that. It's totally worth it!! Do you know where they're getting the fat from on you,?

Also as a tip - I decided not to wear much makeup after the procedure... I'm talking about at least four months..I had to change my face washing regime- I wouldn't use my clarisonic and used a light washcloth to remove my makeup if I wore any. Yes it was a sacrifice but it was new fat being put into a place that needed to regenerate itself to. Still to this day I'm very careful with pressure on my face. It's a change that's not hard when you're happy with your results- just a different way of doing it!

Thank you! The reason I am doing this fat transfer is because I was severely damaged from a professional microneedling procedure. In addition to the fat atrophy and tissue damage I also have sustained horrible textural damage and sensitivity. As a result I can't really use products/make up on my skin. I am hoping this will help but I am used to being very gentle on my skin these days :)

To those of you who showed me support I apologise for not updating sooner. Life got in the way and I wanted to come back to tell you fat transfer really works! I'm still in total awe of my face- bc of the difference it's made in my self confidence! I have no regrets and wouldn't hesitate to tell you if your thinking about - Do it! Please! Bc it's something you'll never regret!! Of course it helps when you have an Excellent Dr who cares and has the experience to back it up!! My fat transfer was 2 1/2 years ago after about 1yr I did lose about 30% of the transfer... Which is totally normal but what it did was build a foundation. And because I work out so much it does factor into it. Dr K did a minor touch-up of a fat transfer a year later. it wasn't nearly half as much and bad as the first time so recovery was quick, so thankful for that! I included some pictures that was taken within the last month so you can see where I'm at now. I really believe that the first time was the foundation that was being built, the second time just filled it in and took. I feel like I don't need another transfer at this time but in the future if I need one, let's say like in 10 years it's still totally worth it! PS what I love about a fat transfer compared to fillers is that my cheeks are always Rosy, flush! Which gives me a glow. with fillers they make your face more of a translucent, like a white undertone. (My opinion) good luck with what you do and pick a good doctor- mine's always available :) Hugs

Stunning results. Thanks so much for updating. It’s great to see it lasting so long because I’ve often heard it doesn’t take. Was the full cost $5,000? Can you please advise how often you work out & why it helps?

Hi.. yes, ive read other fat transfers that don't last, but in my opinion I really believe it's the doctor who does the procedure that makes the difference. (Level of skill) It was $5,000 for the first procedure, 2nd time around there was a revision cost - but less. Before the procedure I used to work out 5 days a week with high impact cardio -such as running 5k's. I didn't realize that the jarring of running really affects the fat pads in your cheeks. I still workout 4 to 5 days a week - I will only do fast Pace walking on the treadmill and have taken up yoga so my routine has changed. I also drink a lot of water, water helps to hydrate and keeps collagen and fat nice and plump! Hugs-

Thanks so much for all the info kmj. I really appreciate your replies. I’ve actually been checking your review for any updates for a while & was so happy for you when I read it was successful. I live in Australia & I’m unable to find any reviews on facial fat transfers in my country. I couldn’t find any reviews on fat transfers by Dr K either so am wondering if you would mind sharing the reason you decided to go with him?

Well I'm happy to help, I know I've reached out to others here and they gave me courage to move forward! About 5 yrs ago I met a lady (a nurse) who told me she was going to see Dr K for a BA.. from my experience nurses are very selective in who they pick as her doctors. Then after seeing her results, I set up a consult. When I met Dr K for the first time there was something that stood out to me- I wanted to show him pictures of what I wanted and he didn't want to see them.. he said every woman's body is different and he wanted to focus on making me the best version I could be! I have always rememberd that, I'm an individual and not a number to him! You're right- Dr K doesn't have a bunch of reviews and results.. I believe the office is more of a referral Buiss! Good work is proof within itself! Also - after my first surgery I was so happy I have had all 8 surgeries with him! I'm happy with all of them!!

Thanks for your reply knj. All this info you’ve provided has been so helpful. Dr K sounds amazing. I need a lot of courage because I will be traveling overseas so I need to be confident in the doctor I choose.. Can you advise how long you needed to wait between 1st fat transfer & the 2nd? And how many follow up appointments were required?

You look stunning! I have 6 days before I head in for a fat graft to my cheeks and the hollows beginning to form under my eyes. From your photos, the swelling and bruising appears minimal?

Beautiful results! I hope you're still happy! I so want to have some fullness to my face and know I don't want fillers but I have read on here so many negative reviews. So, I'm encouraged to see you had terrific results.

Why no fillers? I'm skeptical too but curious as to why others are.

First, I'm afraid it will look puffy and fake, then I worry about it stretching my skin so that I'll have to either continue or have a facelift. Then, I fear infection. At the same time I'm immobilized with fear that if I don't like the way fat looks or if I have lumps then I'm facing yet another problem.

Fat transfers is just simply putting back the fat that has left your face due to aging and possible working out, running, etc. Please check out my current pictures just so you can seey actual results! If you haven't already I encourage you to do it! There's always a risk but if you pick a good doctor it could change your life!! Good luck!
