Uneven result. I knew something was wrong with my left eye 3 months after my surgery. I went to Dr Parsa many times with my concerns and worries over my left eye. Still to this day, No answers to my questions. I went to Dr Parsa to fix a bad lower blepharoplasty. I had lower eyelid retraction.

Response from Dr. Parsa:
I am sorry you feel I was not able to help you. As you said in your review you came to see me for revisional surgery, which means fixing a previous bad surgery done by someone else. These cases are never easy because the damage done previously is too much. I wish I was the first person who operated on you. I hope you know our office is always open to you.

My original lower lid lift did the same thing and I have gone to 3 different ocuplastic surgeons and not one of them can fix this even though they take your money and say they can fix it. I read not too long ago Korea have doctors (Dr. Park in something like gnuang-gum city, it is spelled wrong but close), near Seoul can do magic, he works on the top Korean celebrities there in Cinderella Clinic, watched a few Youtube videos that people from other countries including USA folks had worked done by him and not one of them had a bad experience (also a Dr. Lee in Seoul itself). They do heavy stuff like cranial changes and such so our problem will be a piece of cake. I plan to go next year when the country will be able to have our product Mimedx “Amniofix” the doctors will be able to use so it speeds up healing so scar tissue will be at a minimum. This stuff cuts the inflammation way down and makes the surgeries heal super fast. Scar tissue is the problem. It has been out since 2011 but not so much on plastic surgery so 90% of the USA plastic docs have no clue about it. It is amazing what it does for keloid scars. It grows hair, tons of things, it is supposed to replace stem cell treatment. Do not let anyone use Kenalog or other steroids on you, it changes the color of the skin to dark. I did read about 5fu will work on new scar tissue as it is healing (FYI, normal people make scar tissue called fibroblasts for 72 hours, mine goes on for 3 WEEKS!) there are 2 others that work with 5FU, read that on the ncbi medical journal studies site. There is a couple of guys working on scar tissue plan in Tyler, TX that is promising but between FDA approving it will be 10-15 years before that one is available so 5fu (off label use) and this Mimedx Amniofix/Epifix (Epifix is for skin surface, liquid and powder) is our only hope if we make too much scar tissue...have one eye smaller than the other now since my lower lid surgeries & never got better 3x surgeries after the original, Dr. Taban said he could fix for $16,000 but I have heard that one as well...Korea can fix us later on end of this year when they get this drug approved in about 5-7 months approximately. Good luck!

Sad eyes, you have beautiful eyes. I read the question you asked the doctors and it surprised me that three very reputable oculoplastic surgeons replied (doctor S, Taban and another one) none of them mentioned lower eyelid retraction but upper eyelid ptosis. Maybe that is the real problem, I think that ptosis is easier to fix, I’m not sure. In any case I wish you the best.

So the revision surgery i had made my eyelids shortened so part of my eyelashes went with that.
so be careful and be sure to ask the Dr what the surgery entails.
Maybe we trust doctors so much we don't ask enough questions . to late for me.
So please be careful.

I regret this revision surgery every minute of everyday. I miss the length of my eyelids and eyelashes. Make sure Doctor explains the surgery to you so you can make the choice to have the surgery or not.
If i was explained this type of surgery trust me i would not have had it.
