My ear ring holes were stretched out due to heavy...
My ear ring holes were stretched out due to heavy earrings and the placement of the piercing being so low (very low low low >_<) that it stretched out so easily and made my earlobes feel slightly painful due to the "stretching process". My earrings looked like they were falling out and ripping through my skin since it appeared to be at the bottom end of the ear lobe. It looked pretty bad when I were my earrings and made a vertical indented lines due to the stretchiness of the hole.
The only negative part of having the ear lobe surgery is the possibility of having some minor scarring and marks. It is subtle but if you take care of it right and avoid sun exposure and anti scarring cream that the doctor provided me, it will help reduce the appearance of the scarring from closing of the lobe.
The doctor provided me with anti scarring cream with SPF and re-pierced for me after few months (during my nose job revision and septoplasty).
I think it is very worth it to get the procedure done because now i can wear my earrings without the droopy look and have the "pain" when i wear earrings (it was literally cutting through my skin as I wore earrings :( and it would get inflamed and stuff). But I am happy with the surgery now. My earrings are placed above the original place so it looks "normal" not droopy and it doesn't look like its ripping through my ears. I think I will avoid any "heavy" type of earrings to prevent that from happening again. I will just wear plain studs that are light and comfortable. It looks a whole lot better than before.
Just make sure to avoid sun during the healing process or else the scarring will be more noticeable (The earrings do cover most of the scarring so I am not too worried... it is so subtle)
I think normally the operation cost around $4,000 but I got it at discounted/free price since I was getting various surgery and procedures with her. I was doing septoplasty, rhino revision, buccal fat removal, submental lipo, restylene fillers for my dark under/hallow eyes, fraxel 6 services for my post acne scarring, and hydra facials in combination of 12 series (all the surgeries were paid in cash as well and most of the surgeries were performed in one day except for rhino revision and septoplasty so it help reduce the cost of anesthesia.... For all other surgeries I was awake with numbing).
Dr. Lee is amazing and have a great bedside manner. She is very attentive and truly cares for her patients. During the surgery while I was awake she was trying to comfort me by conversing since I was scared of having a surgery while awake and it helped a lot. I have a low pain tolerance and she tries her best to lower the pain and make me as comfortable as much as possible. I am bit surprised she does not have much reviews here o.o....
In addition, did I mention their front office desk does amazing job with scheduling and make you feel very welcomed. Michael is super sweet and has been very friendly/accommodating. They are very organized which a huge plus for me since I had bad experience with front office being hectic and disorganized and over crowding of patients. Overall I am happy with my results ^_^
