$5,000
All I can say is I'm completely unhappy with this procedure. My skin looks worse and It's embarrassing not to have 3 layers of make up on. I had great skin to start I was only trying to get rid of some wrinkles. The worse part it the doctor has not even called once to follow up with me even though he is aware of my outcome. It's been over 7 months and my pigmentation isn't getting better.. what a waist oh $5,000

Have you tried anything to correct the damage? I had horrible results from Co2. I am currently using Obaji to correct hyper pigmentation.

I'm getting this done in 2 weeks so scared my dr just told me about pigmentation today. He gave me a bleaching cream to prep my skin nightly b4 the procedure. Did u get anything to prep with?

I would look into alternatives. I prepped with bleaching cream before I had a fractional co2 In November. I now have odd texture, pigment issues, and some dents. I also grew some nice jowles from fat loss. My skin is like leather. In doing research after the fact I found that co2 is mainly for much older people with major wrinkles, or very very severe acne scarring, and even for those there are better alternatives. I had minor wrinkles and some age spots. I wish every day that I could turn back the clock and run out of that clinic.

I had the same outcome as Firepile. The laser melted all my facial features and now I look totally different. Oh and now I have acne as well. I made the mistake of going to a med spa unfortuantely. I'm almost positive a surgeon would've not have performed the procedure on me considering was not bad to began with.

I agree laser 56. I also went to a medspa. All I needed was a peel and some fillers. Now I'm looking into a neck and face lift.

My skin looks similar to yours. I'm six months out. Do you have texture changes too? Look up Pearl Grimes. She is a dermatologist in LA and is one of the top pigment experts in the country.

No my skin is not improving. I still get light laser every 5 weeks but I think I have hypo not hyper which is a big issue.
Did you have the same issue?
Did you have the same issue?

I have both hyper and hypo. Plus weird texture. Close up the hypo pigmented areas are lots of tiny white dots. Worst mistake of my life.

I'm going to a plastic surgeon I'm going to talk to a previous person he's done this on of I'm not doing it. I have my surgeons cell phone he gives it to his clients to have them text a picture of how they're improving every day so that makes me feel confident in the doctor but I'm still nervous sharing your guys are stories and I'm only 38. I posted a question in this app waiting for doctors responses with pictures of my skin now

A good rule is to be completely sure that you can live with the worst case scenario. If that is worse than what you're trying to correct with the procedure then look into other options. Docs love lasers.

I just did more research then I did b4 on him and he does alot of face lifts so I think Ill be fine.Praying. Im going to call him Monday but definitely nervous. Ive had friends go and have had amazing results so I guess it just depends sadly on the dr and patient. Maybe Ill have him do a small part of my face first to see how I respond. Why didnt any of you sue for malpractice?
June 5, 2016
It's hard. No lawyer wants a small case. The docs and spas keep telling you "wait and see." It takes a month. Then "six months" then a year. And the time frame for filing trickles away.

It's a great idea to do a test spot. It's actually best practice but it doesn't happen often.

Monday Im going to find out how many of these he's done. If I'm not comfortable in my gut Ill have him credit me towards another surgery I'm having end of the year. Wish all of you the best and thanks for taking time to answer my questions. Also before I booked it I you tubed people who have had it done maybe try that for other options.

I had filler once under my eyes and stupidly the lady put on my nose telling me it would straighten the look and I looked like I had a lump on my nose hump like a witch for years till it desolved and it was thick under my eyes (went to med spa) so now I am SO Scared of any treatments because you just never know even though I only go to surgeons now

June 25, 2016
I didn't get prepped.. I've been trying to get my skin back to we're it was for 21 months.. Be careful who does the laser... I hate my skin now
