Dr. Francis and Robyn saved me.
In 2015, I had chin augmentation and lipo of the jaw line. I could have been on botched. The surgeon (who I won't name) placed a size EAC Large without trying on or showing me the implant ahead of time and removed an unheard of amount of fat. The implant stretched and damaged my muscle and smile. The damage between the lipo and implant was so bad, the top surgeons in the world turned me away. In 2016, I finally found someone to replace some the fat that was removed but he was uncomfortable replacing the implant with the smallest available one because of the damage and pocket size.
I suffered and I waited another year, shopping for a surgeon would take me under their wing. I spent so long researching and I finally found Dr. Francis Palmer. Robyn, his patient coordinator invited me in to talk with her, after spending nearly an hour with me on the phone discussing what had happened. It's LA... not many people care...but, she did. She really cared. She invited me in and we chatted while I waited for Dr. Palmer. She gave me an emergency appointment with no consult charge. The three of us talked about all my options and Dr. Palmer knew immediately what I wanted and needed... AN EAC SMALL chin implant because the pocket had to be filled and I had such a small petite face. He joked with me and made me feel like... how my mom or dad would as a kid if I fell off my bike and hurt myself. He knew he could help fix the problem. We made the appointment for the surgery and they asked me to come in AGAIN, just to clarify everything, try on and talk.
I decided to do the chin implant removal & replacement under local because he is the best at this. Minimal damage, no pain, it's done in 30 minutes and you can drive home. I didn't feel a thing! I cried a bit out of nervousness because my first experience was so traumatic, and he stopped briefly to pat my arm and tell me he was right there, how tough I am, how well I am doing and how great it looks and he wouldn't let anything bad happen.
This is the surgeon you need to see. It's LA and surgeons only care about your money. I have met with over 20 surgeons and Dr. Palmer is the only one I trust. He is genuine and has the best bedside manner and he didn't turn me away. He practices because he cares... he does reconstructive because he knows he has the skills to help... I am still blown away. I thought I would be stuck "botched" forever. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Palmer and his team.
