Thanks for your question. My first fat transfer after breast implant removal did last. However, I decided to do a second round in order to gain more volume. This second time, Dr. Rogers was able to inject 380 cc's of fat into breasts, the most he place. While he did not say so, I think I have "tight" skin. I am very happy with my results because my breasts are soft, warm, and have movement. I understand the expense, but for me, natural is preferable. Please be prepared that the swelling you will have right after surgery will NOT be your ultimate result. However, it is likely you will still have an appreciable gain of volume after the swelling subsides. Wishing you the best.

Thanks. Not planning big. Had 425 cc implants deflated after 18 years. I was always uncomfortable. Just too big for me. If I go half or maybe 300 cc I think it will be great. Enough to fill in space with lift.

Since you're not planning "big," I think having enough fat transferred to fill in space will be great. I started with very little, so wanted more volume. Either way, having natural breasts again is such a wonderful feeling! I can't emphasize enough how much I love having soft, warm breasts again and not feeling the cold sensation of implants through my skin. I hope you will post your outcome. Best to you!

Thank you, again. I think I retained 60% at least. Initially, I was huge because of the swelling, but after 6 weeks have more or less the final result, per my doctor. He actually said it was possible size could fluctuate a bit and get a tad bigger. I had it in my mind overfilling a bit knowing that swelling and fat reabsorption would decrease size.

So sorry, had responded but answer did not post. I actually weighed less the second round, from 147 to 127. My surgeon was confident there was sufficient fat from flanks and thighs for enhancement! I haven't posted an update in a while, but happily, I have retained the fat.

Once I had decided to do a 2nd round, my doctor examined me and provided his input as to where he could obtain the fat (if I understand your question). And this was after I had lost weight.

Sorry to be responding to your question just now. I had not revisited my posts until today. I did not have to gain weight. Believe me, even at 127 pds there was sufficient fat to be harvested. And I'm still VERY happy with the results after 3 years! All natural, all mine.
