Yay! 3rd week post op and I am back to work
Yesterday 03.28, tuesday was my 3rd week post op. Swelling is still going down and I am feeling better and better everyday. Last monday 03.27 was my first day back to work, oh boy it wasnt easy. The nature of my job is deskjob so I sit for 8 hrs everday but I refrained to sit last monday (still trying/avoiding to put pressure on my precious, LOL) so what I did was to stand and or kneel omg I look ridiculous hahaha, I bought I chair with a narrow sit so I can straddle on a opposite direction but it wasnt easy, it hurts on my groin (I had my inner thigh lipo'ed too) so I ended up standing and or kneeling for 8 hrs last monday. Its uncomfortable and its hurts thats I try to move slow but yesterday, tuesday I feel better and yes, I still stand and or kneel for 8 hrs but it wasnt that uncomfortable like last monday. I am planning to keep doing the standing and sleeping on my stomach till i reach exactly one month since I had the procedure. who know,s If I still have the will power I might push it till 6 wks post op, hehehe, I ended up returning the chair to the store since it cause me pain than serve its purpose. Oh I forgot to mention in the past updates that I've been getting lynphatic drainage massage once a week. I feel better everytime I am done with the massage. Bruising also went down alot. By the way, the downside of standing for prolong hours causes swelling so I literally feel swelling on my stomach so I am massaging it evey night before going to bed. so far, I notice that swelling on my abdomen is area is getting less but still lumpy and have some fluids on it. I have an Ok signal to resume cardio workouts exactly one month after the procedure.
Getting better and better
Hi, so today, 03/19/17 i am day 12 post Lipo with BBL.. Bruising went down drastically. I am getting my energy back but I am still swollen; which is still normal during this recovery stage. I can stand, kneel and walk much longer now. Also, I weighed myself earlier out of curiosity and I lost 6 lbs from weight pre-op. What I am complaining at this time is at night time, I have the itching sensation all over my back and the back of my thighs. In some form I am happy since I know this is also normal and it means that my nerve endings are reconnecting again thats why its causing the itchy feeling but the on the other side i hate it, last night i havent slept because it was so itchy, I already took benadryl but still not working. I took a cold shower and it kinda helps but still itchy. I didnt remember how i fell asleep but anyways, my result is looking great and I am loving it. Dr Hazani is really great.
I AM FINALLY HOME!!!
Hello Ladies!
i am day 4 post op (BBL) today, so far everything is doing great. I saw Dr Hazani for my post op visit last thurs 03/09 on my day 2 post op. He said that I am healing perfectly. he gave me my booty pillow and stage 2 garment that same visit too.
Day 3 post op yesterday, 03/10 was the day I am scheduled to fly back to my home state. Its only 1 hr plane ride so I didnt worry too much. While we're at the pre-departure area, i dont care what people say or if they stare at me, i lay on
my stomach the whole time until its time to board. we purchased the first class seats for extra space. we were seated at the very first row so I got plenty of space to move around. As soon as the plane was in the air, I started to change position. I remain standing and at the same time practicing to sit with the booty pillow.
Late last night my brother picked up my kids from our parents house since we left them there for our trip. I finally able to see them after several days! i am so happy to see them again. I am glad they understand that mommy has booboo. Although one of my kids as soon as she arrives she came rushing and lay on my back (I was laying in my stomach on the carpet). I just said nooooo, it hurts, mom has booboo she finally let go and understand.
anyway, pain is tolerable. i expected worst but i believe everybody's pain tolerance is different.
my skin started to itch on day 2 post op, which is normal; means that nerve ending that have been severed during the lipo process has been healing and reconnecting again. I just took benadryl per Dr Hazani's approval and it went away. I believe that our patience and determination will be tested during the healing process.
From the day of surgery up until now all i want is to do is stand and or walk; i dont want to lay on my stomach since i am not used and i am not comfortable laying on that position (i tried practicing sleeping on my stomach a few weeks before the surgery, but i failed, icant sleep)
Dr Hazani refrained me to be standing and walking too much since my legs will be more swollen if i keep doing it so i follow his advice. I just lay on my stomach infront of the TV.
here my pics from the airport and today, day 4 post op
