Hi fellow realself members! it is just now that I decided to post here. I've been trolling this website for a couple of months now. I've been looking and researching doctors who is best in the field of BBL and I dont mind if I travel in different state to have this procedure.

I found Dr Hazani and had a virtual consultation with him around 2nd week January 2017. After talking to him over the phone and looking on his tons of masterpiece, I knew he is THE ONE.

He is caring, nice and realistic. He is also
concern about your health status to make sure that you are safe and cleared to undergo this procedure.

In my case I socially smoke, have high blood pressure and taking birth control pills to regulate my period. I am at risk for possible blood clot (I am already aware of this thats why I am so worried, anxious and scared to undergo the BBL, But I told myself that worrying and being scared of everything will not help me progress in life and also by having this negative vibes I will never see the wonder and beauty of life, so basically, its NOW or NEVER) lol

Dr Hazani informed me that by having this blood pressure cond and pills, that I need to get a
medical clearance from my PCP. I told him no problemo. he also advised me to stop smoking for speedy recovery

January 13th, its a friday, that's my official day of no more smoking. The following week I started taking vit c, folic acid and iron pills all the way to one week before my surgery.

I paid my deposit around the 2nd Week of January, and secured my surgery date of March 7, 2017.
Gary and Nayely were so responsive to my emails
and calls. They are sweet and nice like Dr Hazani.

February came and I started processing my FMLA paperworks, and also had an office visit with my PCP, for my EKG, chest xray and labs for my medical clearance. Before the end of February, everything were set and cleared. I am also done with my shopping r/t to my BBL.

March came and it came by so quick, last monday, the 6th, was the day I finally meet, Nayely, Gary and Dr Hazani in person, that day was my pre op. They gave me papers that I need to sign and also we went over again about the procedure and also the areas for liposuction. In my case, (stomach, flanks, back and also added inner thigh). They also informed me that I need to be in the surgery ctr at 7:30 am on march 7th.

March 7 came, I feel so positive and at the same time anxious. I am anxious about the gen anes. what if i dont wake up and i will no longer able to
see my kids ( I have 3 kids btw, all girls, all
are less than 9 yo) .

I feel positive that I will successfully get through this.
Nurses at the surgery ctr were very nice there too. Anesthesiologist was sweet and funny. at the surgery ctr, my anxiety went away. i dont feel anxious at all. im actually excited! I remember my last words before falling asleep. as the gas mask was put in, and before inhaling the gas, these were my words that I say in my mind, "God, pls let me wake up". As soon as I finish those words. thats it, I am knocked down.

Next thing I remember, I woke up at the recovery area. nurses were all over me. I am trying to totally opened my eyes but my left eye was not opening
I remember hearing the nurse to call the anesthesiologist. I saw the anesthesiologist came and look at me and see whats wrong with my left eye, Turns out, my face is so swollen! )which i read on the paper works that I signed before the surgery thats its normal.

I left the surgery ctr with my friend/coworker and my brother. i was laying on my stomach at the back of toyota camry but with chuck pads and shower curtain underneath.

We were staying at a hotel since we live from out of state. I can walk and stand ok. Pain is tolerable with the help of pain pills. I didnt lose my appetite.

so far everything is ok. I am not groggy or sleepy since leaving the surgery ctr. My face was still
swollen but getting better and better. I am leaking but its normal snd expected

here are my before pic (the morning of surgery before leaving the hotel) and my current state at the moment.

so far i am loving the result, he also transfer some fats to my hips since i have narrow hips. By the way Dr hazani transferred 1500 cc in each butt cheeks. I am so happy! I have smaller waist now and I can see it

hi In2stangzz! aww thank you! :) sure i will. hopefully tomorrow i have somefew updates aftet i see dr hazani. i filed leave from 03/06-03/24 from work. the nature of my job is desk job, i sit 8 hrs a day everyday so i make sure i am off my butt for at least 2.5 weeks before returning to work hehehe!
March 25, 2017
Wow ! You are so lucky that you are taking that much time. I only got 1 1/2 weeks and I'm so worried that's not enough time. In a suggestion of a Dass doll she recommended at least 3 ... so I requested another one -- hoping it's approved
User Avatar
March 25, 2017
hi, i wish u the best, i hope u'll get approved :) i think her recommendation with 3 is correct, this week was my third and it is only this week that my energy starts to resume, i still have discomfort and swelling but its bearable unlike last week; all i want is lay in bed bcoz everytime i move i can feel the pain and the swelling is setting in, plus i cant stand too long, unlike this week, i can move around and stand longer now..ill be returning to work on monday but in preparation for that, i bought a chair where i will be sitting in opposite (my butt will be hanging) ill post a pic once i do it hahaha, lol if i cant work comfortably with that position, ill try sitting with a booty pillow. ill update u with the pic
March 25, 2017
Sounds great ! Thanks so much. I have the option to stand or sit at work -- do you think too much standing will be bad ...
User Avatar
March 25, 2017
prolong standing is bad coz it will contribute to more swelling; i remember my first 12 days post op; if i stand and stay standing or if i walk, i will feel the bandage on my legs and binder on my stomach getting more tighter against my garment and its an uncomfortable feeling but now i can stand more but still feel some tightness but much more less than the previous
March 26, 2017
Okay thanks so much for your help and insight -- it's very helpful
March 21, 2017
Hey glad u made it through ok, u look good BTW. Do u have any pics of your stomach, would love to see how it turned out as well
User Avatar
March 25, 2017
aww thank u:)... i have pic of my stomach but the lower part is still swollen and its accumulating fluid since i have excess skin after the lipo (tummy tuck is the recommendation) ill prolly have the TT once i collected enough leave days again and also money. ill post my stomach once the swelling and accumulation subsides. Dr Hazani has been realistic to me from the start (which i am happy that he is); that based on my pics that i sent to him and after he saw me in person, he said that i may or may not need tummy tuck which i am ok either way; but ill promise to post my stomach once everything is ok:)

I AM FINALLY HOME!!!

Hello Ladies!

i am day 4 post op (BBL) today, so far everything is doing great. I saw Dr Hazani for my post op visit last thurs 03/09 on my day 2 post op. He said that I am healing perfectly. he gave me my booty pillow and stage 2 garment that same visit too.

Day 3 post op yesterday, 03/10 was the day I am scheduled to fly back to my home state. Its only 1 hr plane ride so I didnt worry too much. While we're at the pre-departure area, i dont care what people say or if they stare at me, i lay on
my stomach the whole time until its time to board. we purchased the first class seats for extra space. we were seated at the very first row so I got plenty of space to move around. As soon as the plane was in the air, I started to change position. I remain standing and at the same time practicing to sit with the booty pillow.

Late last night my brother picked up my kids from our parents house since we left them there for our trip. I finally able to see them after several days! i am so happy to see them again. I am glad they understand that mommy has booboo. Although one of my kids as soon as she arrives she came rushing and lay on my back (I was laying in my stomach on the carpet). I just said nooooo, it hurts, mom has booboo she finally let go and understand.

anyway, pain is tolerable. i expected worst but i believe everybody's pain tolerance is different.
my skin started to itch on day 2 post op, which is normal; means that nerve ending that have been severed during the lipo process has been healing and reconnecting again. I just took benadryl per Dr Hazani's approval and it went away. I believe that our patience and determination will be tested during the healing process.

From the day of surgery up until now all i want is to do is stand and or walk; i dont want to lay on my stomach since i am not used and i am not comfortable laying on that position (i tried practicing sleeping on my stomach a few weeks before the surgery, but i failed, icant sleep)

Dr Hazani refrained me to be standing and walking too much since my legs will be more swollen if i keep doing it so i follow his advice. I just lay on my stomach infront of the TV.

here my pics from the airport and today, day 4 post op

Getting better and better

User Avatar

Hi, so today, 03/19/17 i am day 12 post Lipo with BBL.. Bruising went down drastically. I am getting my energy back but I am still swollen; which is still normal during this recovery stage. I can stand, kneel and walk much longer now. Also, I weighed myself earlier out of curiosity and I lost 6 lbs from weight pre-op. What I am complaining at this time is at night time, I have the itching sensation all over my back and the back of my thighs. In some form I am happy since I know this is also normal and it means that my nerve endings are reconnecting again thats why its causing the itchy feeling but the on the other side i hate it, last night i havent slept because it was so itchy, I already took benadryl but still not working. I took a cold shower and it kinda helps but still itchy. I didnt remember how i fell asleep but anyways, my result is looking great and I am loving it. Dr Hazani is really great.

User Avatar
March 24, 2017
hi, my flight going home day 3 post surgery? it was ok, glad i made it through. :) it was only an hour flight so i was able to stand majority of the time during the flight. if i needed to be seated, i have the pillow dr hazani gave me and also used my arms to take off the pressure from the rest my body. i purchased the first class and chose the very first row so i have plenty of space.

Looking great!!! 1500ccs :0 that's good I only got 1320, I wanted more. My surgery with Hazani was on Monday the 20th Im still leaking a bit of fluid but still very bruised, how does your tummy feel? I feel very bloated
User Avatar
March 24, 2017
hi, thank u :)... i also wanted more but he said thats the only amount he can put on each cheeks since thats how far my skin on my butt can get stretched; i am very happy he was able to put in that amt on each cheeks, i wasnt actually expecting that much. i told myself if he can put at least 1200 on each i will be happy. :) I remembered the first words I uttered as soon as i opened my eyes were: how much did he put in???? hahaha I am glad that the nurse answered my ques. she even showed me my record. and also to my surprise when i get back to the hotel, when i looked ob my behind dr hazani wrote 1500 on each cheeks hahaha! when u look at my pics u can see the writings lol... i stopped leaking on the morning of day 2 post op. but it is a good sign that u still leak, so u will not accumulate fluid. i already accumulated fluid on my stomach he already drained my twice. first on my day 2 post op and 2nd was yest during my 2 wks post op. What you are feeling is normal. It will get over soon. Try to stay ob ur bed as much as you can, coz the more ur standing or doing sumting, u will swell quickly and u feel it coz u will ur garment and binder getting tighten

I had my massage and they did drained me a bit, which was good. I seen Dr.Hazani last night since my tummy is a bit loose he said I might retain fluid their, I did have a bit.
I want to know how my tummy is going to look once the swelling and everything goes down already!!
How does your tummy look? Are you planning on having a tummy tuck?
User Avatar
March 26, 2017
my tummy right now has fluids again; i aggressively massaging it twice a day (morning & night) in the morning it will be soft after massage then ill proceed with my day (i still have binder, lipofoam, garment) comes night and its all hard again; i am getting frustrated now...lol; yes i am planning to have one (TT) but i have to save leave days and money again. I am hoping next time he drains me it will be lesser but looking on my tummy right now, i am afraid its the same like before he drained me last week

We are going to retain fluid because it has no where to go, unless Dr.Hazani removes it. My incisions have closed:( yes I know what you mean makes it feel like we're really bloated.. Do you know if by the 2nd week will lose any more fat? I know I'll final results will be at the 3month period but I feel like I got to much hips lol
