I'm 45 years old and I'm 5'11. I have two boys and my butt have dropped down south. I have researched the procedure but I do not know what to expect post-op. How long after can i shower and how long should I expect to be in pain? what to use to sit down on? I am a little nervous about the pain but I have been wanting this for a while so I am going through with it my surgery is March 17, 2014.

so I had my procedure yesterday and so far all is well. I did had a lot of leakage on the first day. I suggest that if anyone have this procedue done you have someone that will help you and you take your medication especially pain as soon as possible and on time. The first night was hard cause you depend on the person for everything. I will keep you posted as I recover. Day 2 is much easier. A little stiff but up and around much more.

Congratulations! I don't think you said where you had lipo done. Also, what type of anesthesia was used? That's great that you are feeling substantially better on day 2, I hope that continues. Thanks for sharing.

I would not change a thing. The doctor and his staff was great. At the time his receptionist was Leslie, she was amazing and excepted all my calls and even gave me her personal phone number to ease my anxiety. the first 2 days were the worst but each day it was better. I had to get some fluid drained from my stomach but it was painless and done in his office. He was very personable and his bedside manner was amazing. I would recommend him to anyone and I am thinking about a tummy tuck for some hanging skin form childbirth.
