Today marks a month since my bbl and I'm very happy with the results! A lot has happened pre op and post op. I won't lie the first week was very painful and uncomfortable. The compression garment was extremely tight, and made my privates swell even more. I stopped using it at week 3 and purchased a good quality waist cincher. Before surgery I was 120 and although Dr Dass discourages from gaining weight, I made the decision to gain 10 lbs. It is not a whole lot of weight but it is significant given my small frame. He was able to inject 1000cc in each cheek. My hips measured 40" soon after surgery, and 25" waist. Now at 4 weeks my hips measure 39" and 26" waist. My weight goes up and down a few pounds and it has been stable at 126-128 lbs.
Dr Dass is known to be aggressive with lipo, which I have experienced now! He left no lumps! I am still sore, but I no longer experience the pins and needles feeling I had the first 2 weeks. Now it feels numb and occasionally experience sharp nerve pain that I was told is normal at this stage of recovery.
I have been gently massaging my new ass everyday twice a day with magnesium chloride. I still feel lumps that I hope will go away with time.
Another reason why I stopped wearing my compression garment and went against dr's orders to wear my stage 2 garment is because I prefer to shower everyday and seeing my new ass being squeezing inside these torture devices was too painful. I also noticed that the garment was starting to leave marks on my cheeks, which I have massaged away.
I had sex on week 2. I just couldn't wait! With my garment on and me on top. It wasn't the best but boy it was badly needed. I have ventured to have more episodes without the cincher, [RS bleep] with some discomfort but no complains.
I was mostly paleo before surgery, however it has been difficult to maintain post op and so I have incorporated a lot more veggies and fruit into my diet.
I took bromelain and arnica pills one month before my surgery and I am still taking these supplements. Kombucha drinks and pro biotics also, Vital Protein collagen pills 3 times per day as part of my daily routine and have been for a couple of years, and cayenne supplements for detox.
One complain I have, which is minor at this point, is none of my old clothes fit. I will wait until my booty stabilizes. I did purchase a few mumus from target and other loose clothing.
I began work at week 2 for a few hours. I work independently and make my own hours and so it is only for a few hours 3 times a week. My line of work is sedentary and I have to sit for an hour at a time and take time to get up and walk as much as I can. Yesterday was the most difficult because I had 3 appointments, and that's 3 hours of sitting. In addition to my hour long commute. That's 5 hours total! In spite of having used the booty buddy pillow my new booty was tender and it felt swollen. I did not measure myself because I was too tired but boy it was not happy.

Thank you for posting this review. I've set my consult for tgis august & while im excited & confident in DR dass im worried whether I'll really need tge mommy makeover to make all the $worth it...i don't see many reviews on that for him. Feeling a bit skeptical.

I really want the works. Tummy, breast, and bottom. But i want to maintain an hourglass shape not have that pulled straight stomavh, you know? I chose dass because i see he understands that feminine/sexy look but i just dont know?

I understand. It is a large area of the body to trust to one doctor. Ask a lot of questions

Yes indeed. I'll see how consult turns out, fingers crossed

You look amazing!!! You definitely have a booty now!!! How are you feeling? Did you have to get any massages, did you have to wear any lipo boards? Best of luck with your recovery.

Thank you!!! I do have a booty!!! At first it felt HUGE but now it feels very much a part of me. Dr Dass does not recommend massages until after week 6, and that’s to desensitize the lipo area. I did not wear lipo boards as they were not provided or suggested.

Hey, what waist cincher did you get?? This garment is killing me and I might do the same thing you did!

Oh, just saw it! thanks!

5 weeks post op

It has been 5 weeks since my surgery. I felt itchiness last week, but this week has been minimal. I feel tightness in the lipo area, and some sudden nerve pain. No lumps so far, and I've been wearing the cincher religiously, it leaves marks that takes hours to fade away. I have not seen any permanent marks so far. It feels weird to be without it, almost like a security object. I am posting pre op pictures. They look grotesque and that's the reason for not posting them earlier.
I'm scheduled for my 6 weeks post op on Monday. I can't wait! I'm very pleased with my results. The change is dramatic and beautiful. I have been keeping my surgery private, even from my mother, and use whatever excuse to explain my booty buddy, such as "I'm too embarrassed to even talk about" or "I'm having some issues but the doctor says it will go away soon" for example. So far no one probes.
I ended up boxing the majority of my clothes to give away because nothing fits me! I'm ok with that small inconvenience.
I cannot wait to start feeling less pain!!! I've been taking advil once per day, and CBD oil with THC at night to help me sleep.
I'm not sure if I mentioned this on my last post but when my lipo area gets warm by shower or hut tub, I get this unbearable burning feeling. Spraying the area with cold water takes care of this pain. As a result of that I have been showering with cool water. It does feel good!

By the way, my butt is still 39"!!! I have also kept my weight at a stable 126-129 which is my ideal at this stage of recovery.

How many times a day do you experience the nerve pain ,from 1-10 please rate. Does it make you scream and cry from the pain ?I’m very scared of nerve pain, and any pain .I am going for Dr Dass for my BBL btw. before December.Thank You for your reply

I have never counted the number of times I experience nerve pain but my guess is about 5-10 times daily. Some nerve pain is stronger than others and I notice the pain is sharpest in the morning or when I’m pushing myself to stretch or bend. The pain is not very strong but it take me by surprise and it is sudden at about 3-5 on a 10 scale. The duration is not long, only a few seconds.

6 week appointment post op

I went to my 6 weeks post op app yesterday. I got measured, weighed, and photographed. Dr Dass was very pleased with his work, and my recovery progress, though he was not happy to hear I have been using the booty buddy as an aide to sit. He explained that his instructions are very clear "no sitting" whatsoever. I have been a bad patient and due to my not following through he recommended not sitting directly for another 2-3 weeks. He explained that even using the booty buddy puts pressure on the cheeks and delays recovery and progress. He also noticed the internal lumps in my ass and encouraged me to not put pressure on my butt, standing, kneeling or laying on my stomach only. So that's the consequence for not following through!
He didn't see how these lumps would turn into fat necrosis because he said it is too soon, however it places a risk to my newly transplanted fat because it decreases circulation and fat cell survival. He also noticed a little bit of swelling and encouraged, again, to not sit, not even with the booty buddy. No promises but will do my best. Besides it is not like I have a high supply of fat elsewhere in my body to be suctioned out and patch the dents if any. He noticed a small dent on my right cheek but this was there before, not caused by my poor choices.
He showed me how to massage my lipo area, and gave me the green light for gym workouts. Yay!!!

At what week did you start to sit?
User Avatar

i just saw your post. i'm now a couple of days shy of 9 weeks and have began to sit for short periods of time. I've chosen to sit on very soft furniture like couches or cushy chairs because it feels uncomfortable and weird to sit on hard surfaces. On hard surfaces I still use the booty buddy. I have the fear that sitting on hard surfaces or for long periods of time is going to "deflate" my butt. I know it makes no sense! Every morning and after I wake up I immediately go to a mirror to check that my butt is still there.

Hi! Thank you for such detailed feedback! I’ve wanted to get this procedure done for 15 years now and thinking I’m ready to pull the trigger and get it done. However I work at an office and worried that it still hurts you to sit down at 9 weeks post op. Has sitting on hard surfaces gotten better? Did the doctor give an indication on when the pain from sitting would go away?
