BBL After Weight Loss - Beverly Hills, CA

ORIGINAL POST

I gained a lot of weight rapidly after college...

WORTH IT
I gained a lot of weight rapidly after college from a desk job and a lack of motivation to workout. At my heaviest, i hated the way i looked and it was taking a toll on my knees and overall health. I spent so much time and finally came across a wonderful personal trainer that helped me shed over 60 pounds in 1 year. Well, i loved my overall health but not how my body looked after. My butt went flatter and sagged and i still had quite a bit of fat on my flanks, back, and belly that just wasn't responding to exercise. That's when i decided to get some help from cosmetic surgery to help me get my body back.
I had multiple consultations with my local cosmetic surgeons but I was not satisfied with their results. After much research, i came across Dr. Patel's page on Instagram and fell in love with his work. His work is outstanding and I have not seen anyone else that can even come close to it.

I finally decided to call Dr. Patel's office for a virtual consultation as I live outside the area. His staff is very sweet and courteous and i was able to get an appointment right away. I shared my pictures and overall concerns and Dr. Patel was understanding and honest about how the procedure would help me and what to expect. I did have some other health concerns prior to surgery and Dr. Patel was very honest and straight forward about risks and his suggestions. He takes great pride in his work and his passion for what he does is like none other. Surgery: I flew into Beverly Hills 2 days before surgery. I followed all instructions before surgery and things went smooth. Day of surgery: I was greeted by the sweetest Kelsi as she helped me prepare. The nurse that explained the procedure, medications, after care was wonderful and she took the time to answer all of my questions. She made me feel very comfortable and I wasn't afraid at all. The anesthesiologist was also very nice and lets just say as soon as i was hooked up, I knocked out! Recovery: The recovery wasn't too bad. It feels like you've done a million squats and crunches. I did not have to take the prescribed pain meds after the day of surgery. I followed the instructions and kept my compression garment on at all times. I walked around my hotel room which really helped with the soreness. I flew back home (short flight) 2 days post-op. I was off from work for 2 weeks. I resumed my workouts after 2 weeks (strength training 3xweek) without any issues and I used my BBL pillow at all times. I am currently 8 weeks post-op and i'm very happy with my results. The attached photo is WITHOUT any compression garment under my dress. No back rolls, love handles, my belly is almost gone, and my booty looks amazing! I would not trust anyone but Dr. Patel with my body. His work is impeccable and I do not have any regrets. He is the only surgeon i would recommend to my loved ones.

You look great. Saw he posted this exact pic on his instagram. Do you have any before and afters?
Thanks for sharing your experience; it sounds like a very positive one. I learn something new from 'RealSelfers' daily.
If I may ask just a few additional questions: other than the BBL, what additional procedures did you have to address the other areas that were bothering you? (lipo, maybe?) How did your healing process go? Obviously if you back to working out 3 days a week in only two weeks, you must have healed amazingly fast - how wonderful! (Your photo profile looks great, BTW...) Also, what were the costs of your procedures? When I see a physician is based in Beverly Hills, I immediately think $$$$$$$ - which may not necessarily be the case. Any additional info you can provide is helpful.
Thanks so much, and best of luck. Kathi
BBL with Dr. Patel includes lipo from abdomen, flanks, and back depending on your body. I carry most of my fat in those areas and as you can see from this photo, I look pretty smooth. I did not wear any compression garment under my dress and I still have some swelling so I am expecting a smaller waist :)

Healing will take time. I resumed workouts with my compression garment always on after two weeks and it was manageable. I do some pretty kick ass weight training so I was just more careful and the tight compression garment helped my posture as well. The hardest part for me was sleeping on my tummy but I adjusted with a pillow under to keep me straight. Walking or any exercise always helps improve your healing process.

BBL in general is an expensive procedure but it's worth it. I worked so hard to lose the excess weight and I'm still not at my goal weight yet, but I'm loving my new body and it will continue to improve with time.

I hope this helps. Best of luck!

Congrats on all your hard work with your trainer, that is significant!  When was your surgery?

1/25 :)
Can you let us know how much you paid for your beautiful body. Thanks
Forgive me if I am wrong, but this review seems faker than the Tooth Fairy.
I'm not sure why you find this fake. Sorry to see you think that way. I never write reviews but I thought this might help other women. :)
I just it was weird that this photo and review was posted the exact same day as Doctor Sej posted on this instagram. Also some of the things in the review sounds a lot like some of the things Dr. Sej says. But If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Have a good one.
I sent the photo to him because I wanted to share my results as I live out of the area.
I agree. She doesn't even show before and after pictures. What's the point of making a review without pictures?smh so fake.
I agree lol seems fake
I did not take before photos in similar clothes (regret it) but I can assure you it was not pretty, belly roles and all.
