I'm writing this review because i loved reading so...

I'm writing this review because i loved reading so many wonderful, informative and honest experiences from other women who have gone through this procedure.

I spent many years and $$ on gyms, personal trainers, Pilates, yoga, kick boxing, rock wall climbing...you name it, I've done it. But no matter how much I worked out and how many carbs I cut, I could never reach that desired hourglass figure. It just wasn't in my DNA. Then I learned about the BBL...
I researched doctors in my area and had consultations with a few. Hands down my favorite was Dr. Hazani. The front office staff Nayeli and Gary are kind, professional and extremely responsive throughout the entire process. Dr. Hazani has a wonderful kind demeanor, he's honest and has, in my opinion, the best before and after pictures of BBL patients. The one thing I REALLY appreciated about Dr. Hazani is that he under-promised and OVER-delivered. As a woman in my 40's, fighting time and gravity, I had no idea how amazing my results would be.

Ladies, there is no sugar coating the recovery. The first week is hard. Really hard. I had two children naturally with no drugs... and this surgery still shook me. The nausea from the pain meds and anesthesia, the lack of sleep and the fluid flowing from the incisions the first few days made me wonder if I had made a huge mistake The first week is brutal but once you get to the second week, you will turn the corner and start to feel like yourself again.

I woke up in recovery in a daze. I felt pain, nausea, discomfort and I felt extremely emotional. The ride to the hotel was a blur. I was so swollen and out of it...I couldn't eat and had trouble sleeping longer than 2-3 hours at a time. Driving home the next day took about an hour and was just miserable. I laid flat in the back of an SUV and felt every bump and tap on the breaks. Once I made it home I tried to stay mobile..taking my dog for slow short walks to keep my circulation flowing. Food was just a necessity but I did stay away from anything salty. I ate a lot of pineapple, toast and scrambled eggs. I stopped the pain meds almost right away because they made me so nauseous. Tylenol was enough to take the edge off the pain and discomfort.

By week two the swelling had gone down substantially and by week three I was feeling about 75% back to myself and even went out to meet my girlfriends for a glass of wine (I stood at the bar the whole time;)).

Sleep is still a challenge some nights because of having to sleep on your stomach but not nearly as bad as week one. After 2 weeks I sat on my BBL pillow to drive and to eat.

Overall I'm extremely happy with the results and I would still do it all over again. The results completely outweigh the recovery. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I'm an open book :)
