Surgery date Friday, July 28th
I had my surgery on Friday July 28th. Here are two photos I took, one when I got home after surgery and the other the day after surgery. Sorry, I didn't take photos right before surgery. I wanted to, but the day before I was running errands all day and then I remembered right before bedtime, the night before surgery. I was really tired by then, and I was over it. My final weight on surgery day was 133 lbs. I guess I lost 2 lbs, since the last time I weight myself 2 weeks prior.
I woke up from surgery with pain, coughing, and shaking from feeling cold. The nurse kept me warm with a heated blanket and gave me some pain medicine, after that I didn't have any more pain. I'm so thankful that I haven't had pain since the time I woke up from surgery. I only feel lots of soreness, like if I had an intense workout at the gym. I just been taking Tylenol every 6 hours for the soreness. For me, there was no need to take the norcos, and having to deal with constipation. I got 960cc in each butt cheek. I'm happy with that, I was hoping to get anything over 800cc.
Today I'm 4 days post op. I'm feeling better, I can move around more, walk better, and don't feel as sore. My biggest challenge has been laying and sleeping on my stomach. I wake up feeling stiff and my eyes swollen. I have my post op appointment this week. I need to get into the faja already. I'll see how that goes, since I've only been dealing with the binder these last few days. I do have some swelling in my lower pelvic area. I'll have the doctor look at it and hopefully it doesn't need to be drained out. I've read that it hurts when the doctor has to drain that area and the swelling in that area happens to almost all of Hazani's patients.

Your body is looking great out of surgery . There's also no visible signs of your incisions I'm so jealous ! I have visible scars from my incision sites so I hope that I can find a way to improve the appearance of them . The first two weeks are going to be tough, but trust me they are going to past by rather quickly . Keep yourself hydrated and make sure to not skip out on any meals . Just take it day by day you're going to look amazing once everything is healed .

Thanks girl! My incisions are small and they are healing very well. Have you been using mederma on them? I'm going to start using that this weekend. Hopefully it'll work for me.

I recently started to use bio oil on my incisions scars and not only do I use it on my scars I also use it for when I massage my back and stomach . I've used mederma in the past, but never had any luck with it helping reduce the appearance of my scars . I'm still on the lookout for something better .

2 More Weeks
I did my lab work on June 30th, got my results a week later and everything looks good. YES!!
Today I made my final payment. I'm all paid off and ready for surgery!
I'm still working on my weight gain. Currently I'm at 135 lbs, I still have 2 more weeks left. This whole weight gain has been tough. I've been eating a lot and stop going to the gym. I haven't been feeling too good, cuz of eating unhealthy food and not working out. I really hope, I have enough fat to transfer to my butt.

Thank you girl. I'm getting excited but not looking forward to the recovery process. How are you feeling?
July 16, 2017
Yes, the recovery is much more difficult than I ever expected . I'm doing okay as the days pass by, I'm slowly getting back to feeling a little like myself but I know I have a long way to go until everything feels normal again . Keep in mind though one of the worst things about the recovery is having to constantly be on your stomach, feet, or knees . So I do recommend making something so that you can at least lay on your back for a few min each day without the added pressure on your new butt because trust me not being able to sit or lay comfortably will kind of get to you from time to time especially if you become sleep deprived like myself ); This isn't to scare you or anything I just want you to be prepared .

Definitely laying and sleeping on my stomach has been hard. I now know what you mean and it's only been 4 days for me. Ughh!! Having to deal with it longer it's really going to be challenging. I wake up every morning stiff with swollen eyes. I just hope things get better each day as we recover.
