Thank you! Honestly I didn't buy anything to prepare. It all came so fast and I didn't even think about preparing. If I could go back in time, I don't think there's anything I would even buy aside from a couple of body pillows for sleeping since sleeping is such a pain.

When I paid for the surgery they gave me everything I needed such as all my medication and arnica gel. The payment included 2 garments (1st and 2nd stage) and the binder wraps.

I see that most people get a pool or lawn chair first but I personally wouldn't. My husband eventually bought one to cut the butt out like during my 2nd week since laying on my stomach all the time was so uncomfortable. But honestly that really wasn't all that comfortable either. Maybe for a minute but after a while sitting like that hurt my hips and it felt like I was going to fall through. To me it was a waste of money.

The booty buddy would be a good buy for certain things and especially because mine took almost 3 weeks to get here. But I would say this is good to only sit for short periods of time but NOT for driving in my experience. Seems like an accident waiting to happen. It's dang near impossible. My booty buddy just came and that thing is a fail when is come to just trying to get IN my car to drive let alone to actually drive. To sit in the passenger seat? Ok, Maybe...

I know Dr. Miami has his own version which looks a little better because it includes a back pillow for support which u definitely need. But I still wouldn't trust it for driving.

Oh yeah u can definitely stock up on maxi pads heavy flow for leakage and puppy pads to lay on your bed for the first few days. I forgot those are a must!
