I have pretty mixed feelings on the surgery now that it's been one year. Honestly, in retrospect, I wish I didn't have BBL surgery.
Over a year ago, I was hyper-focused on having liposuction on my abs and muffin top. I would say the liposuction aspect of my surgery was 75% good. My love handles are gone and my lower abs are nearly flat. HOWEVER... the area on my upper abs/pretty much everything above my bellybutton remained *completely* untouched. Why?? I have no idea. So how I have this weird unsightly fat roll on my upper abdomen, a sudden deep crease right above my belly button where the fat roll folds, and then my lower stomach is flat. The crease is super deep and noticeable.
Now... on to the butt lift aspect of the surgery. Before surgery, my butt was small and flat. I didn't really care that it was small, but I figured I would put the extra stomach fat to good use and have it transferred to my butt. Basically, I cared more about the shape of my butt, and expressed as much to Dr. Dass. I explicitly said I didn't want a big butt, just a cute inverted-heart shaped one.
I personally do NOT like the aesthetic of a large butt/hips. Now mine looks freakishly big (especially in comparison to my very thin legs). A TON of fat was injected and pretty much ALL of it took/stayed. To put it in perspective for you: I would say my butt fits in size 16 jeans and my waist fits in size 10 jeans. Because of this, I can barely find a single pair of pants that fit me. Dresses are the only thing that accommodates my body. The disparity in size between my waist and butt is so embarrassing. It's painfully obvious how fake my butt is. I NEVER wanted the Khloe Kardashian diaper butt look... but now I'm stuck with it.
If I would have known Dr. Dass wouldn't lipo my upper abs, I would not have gone through with it. Also, I should have reiterated before the procedure started that I did not want a large butt. Sigh. Save your money and keep your expectations realistic. MAKE SURE TO DISCUSS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS PRIOR TO MOVING FORWARD WITH SURGERY, EVEN IF IT SEEMS TEDIOUS AND ANNOYING AT TIMES.

Day 9
Another good day!! I'm definitely on the up and up! I was able to get an amazing night's rest and shower without any assistance. Also, the awful burning sensation has finally subsided, and now it just feels like I did 1000 squats, sit-ups and planks. I'll take sore pain over burning pain ANY day though. Otherwise, my appetite, mobility, and general will to live are back! LOL. However, I am still EXTREMELY and comically swollen.

I am happy for you that you are back to yourself and you are going in the right direction to healing. Thanks for updating us. Please post more pictures. How many cc did you get transferred ? And did you get your hips done too?

I just took a few more pics which I'll post soon, but I feel like I look the same as other post-op pics since I'm still really swollen. I had like 4200 ccs lipo'd and 1200 ccs injected into each cheek! As for hips, I'm pretty sure some fat was transferred there because they're pretty sore and swollen too.

Thanks god that everything is going normal with you again!! I’m so happy for you. How much did you pay for your surgery? And what parts did you lips?

Thank you! I paid $14,400 for my surgery and lipo'd my entire abdomen, flanks, mons pubis, back, and axilla area.
