I want to get this so bad! Does it hurt as bad as it looks ?

Not going to lie recovery was a lot more than I thought it was going to be,
But I'm still happy with my results so it makes it worth it.
Pain wise, I'm my opinion, it's the lipo areas that take the longest to heal and pain to go away. I still have areas on my sides that still hurt to the touch but are getting better. I've been doing light massages to soften that one area.
The first week is the hardest because it hurts to move but I also had to stop my pain meds early to feed my son. After that it's more discomfort than pain. Oh and it takes a while to be able to bend over without a ripping feeling in you lower back... From lipo.
Overall though it's worth it if you need it as bad as I did lol

photos are of 48 hours after surgery when I got to take my garment off to shower and wash.

There was a lot of drainage the first day and now there's still some but a lot less. There are two drains in my front incisions, and only my right has become slightly painful. I've stopped using painkillers because I'm breastfeeding.

I'm still sore but seeing as I'm not on meds I think I'm doing good besides that one incision. I have my 1 week post op tomorrow and get the drains removed...Can't wait!

I'm loving the results, I hope I don't lose too much size as swelling goes down.

I have to admit wearing the garment 24/7 and laying on my stomach/ not being able to sit is a lot harder than I thought.

You look so amazing!! Im thinking about liposuction but i'm worried about the recovery(pain). If you don't mind answering ... How did you feel immediately after waking up from surgery? On a scale of 1-10 how bad is the pain? And when were you able to maneuver on your own?
July 22, 2017
From my experience, I was in no pain at all I would say a 2 from 1-10. The next day the pain was like a 7/8 when the meds were losing their effect. Im 10 days post op and feel great. Just let me tell u this surgery is not for the faint of heart!

When I woke up u did have some pain but they gave me more meds and I was fine. Probably like a 5 when I woke up then an 8/9 with med cuz I could still feel soreness.
I was able to maneuver ok with meds right after.
the lipo areas feel tight and to this day bending over is just not the same cuz I got lipo on my lower back. It just feels so tight. But it's getting better

3 1/2 years ago I was exactly where you are. I had my first BBL when my daughter was 6 weeks old. I nursed also but used frozen milk the first day or two. In hindsight I completely underestimated the surgery with a newborn to take care of. I was off work and had extra fat so it seemed like a no-brainer. Been there and I know how much tougher this is especially not sitting or having ability to focus solely on yourself and your recovery. Happy healing.

Omg yes you hit it right on the nail! Same, I figured why not with the time off and extra fat... Def more of a challenge with a newborn. Hitting 2 week mark and am excited to drive, at least I can take my baby out for a bit.
July 22, 2017
Wow I see a HUGE difference! The recovery process is NO JOKE! Im 10 days post and Im still struggling a bit to do regular things on my own lol

Photos are from yesterday morning.
My measurements out of surgery were about 30-28-40
Now they are closer to 30-26-39
So I've lost an inch but I'm still very happy with the results! I'm hoping to not lose Much more, at the most an inch!
My butt is still firm but that is common from what I've read.
I have been experiencing lower back swelling mostly on one side. Tends to swell after a walk or standing for long periods of time and makes it hard to wear my compression garment. It starts to harden because of the pressure so I have to undo the middle portion of the garment but now that I've discovered what causes the swelling I haven't had to do that.
I switch garments tomorrow and can already tell it's going to be hard to put on, seeing as there's no zipped or clips.

Bruising is almost gone!
Oh and I have a photo shoot in 2 weeks! Excited to show off my new derrière!

Thank you for sharing I have my app Wednesday morning for my consult. I am a like nervous because I want a flat stomach like yours . Did or skin snap back from your stomach ?
User Avatar
July 25, 2017
Actually it did! Dr Dass had mentioned I may have saggy skin cuz of my recent pregnancy but fortunately I don't have saggy skin! Is your consult with Dass?
July 27, 2017
That stage 2 garnment is hellllll lol! I didnt fit in it when they first gave it to me. Now a week later it fits great. It really molds my body A LOT. Im not suppose to use it until my third week so im hanging in there. Are you getting massages?

They told me to put mine on at 2 weeks. its so much more comfortable to me! I like it way better.
I kinda did gently rubbed my sides cuz I have some firmness/ hardness and soreness where I got lipo but only on one side. But I haven't really massaged it cuz Dass said at 3 weeks to start if needed. Have you?
