Are you looking for subtle or dramatic results?

I'm looking for a combination of both.:) I want my nose to look different..but only to me, I want the results to "look" subtle, soft, and refined, not like an obvious nose job that looks crazy if that makes sense haha

Basically I am looking for a significant result... If i am paying all this money, I want to have my ideal nose..
After you take pictures.. he morphs them on the computer and shows you what your nose could look like.. This was really nice, but he also said it has limits
We decided upon augmenting my nasal bridge with rib cartilage and using rib cartilage also form my tip. Also alar reduction to reduce the width of my nose.
My nose is very similar to yours and I asked for my nose to be tall and projected. He went into detail about how he would do the surgery and then answered my questions..
I recommend you consult with him if you have not already booked Hamilton. Personally i did not feel Hamilton could deliver what I wanted...

I actually had to put my surgery on hold as well because they do not offer care credit at the time.:(

i'm actually considering these docs: Kenneth hughes (LA); John Vartanian (Glendale, CA); Dr. Khorsandi (Las Vegas). they are very good surgeons for black noses.. I've done the research.......they all take care credit.... I'm looking for something a bit more drastic than Dr. Hamilton's work.. Dr. Hamilton is excellent but he's not the only one who can work on black noses...lol

I've seen his work on real self and on his site.. He does a great job. I agree with you.. any alteration to our black noses will be dramatic and not "natural" but we don't want to look "pinched like the Jacksons". Dr. Hamilton is nice but very conservative his approach. I want a surgeon who is slightly past conservative but not overly aggressive.. because once it removed it can't be put back...LOL I'm looking to find a surgeon in the 10,500 range. preferably less.. I really hate feeling like I should have to pay more because I'm black...LOL

Either I'm going to have to research more surgeons or just save $$for doctor Hamilton. although he's the only one I trust tbh I haven't met with any other doctors but I just feel like he'll better understand my needs

He's great... but I've had my care credit for several years.. If I closed that card and applied somewhere else....my credit would take a hit.. so after stalking all photos of black women who have had rhinoplasty I've come to the conclusion there are other very talented surgeons.. this may sound bad but I wants a pointer tip and am worried a black doctor may not give me this because of his own bias even if it looks great.. I've seen plenty of black women on real self with pointier tips that look very natural... right now I'm loving VIP plastic surgery in las vegas.. I talked with a black female who had surgery with him and her results were beautiful just two days post op...

I've seen some bad review on Dr. G as well. I'm telling you check out kial44.. she went to Dr. Khosandi... her nose was gorgeous even a few days after surgery... That's who I think I may settle on.. Dr.Hughes price was 12,500... YIKES!!!! Dr. Hamilton was only 10,500

Yeah!!! I saw her on real self.. She had a great result... but her inner nose is different than mine.. Its nice to see how skilled Dr. H is... He would be my top choice if he accepted Care Credit.. So regrettably I have to let him go... Looks like really good work! I may go to a consultation since I'll be in Vegas next month. And yah it's a bummer he doesn't offer care credit. At this point I feel like I have to just wait it out. As for me a just want a more refined and smaller nose with a beautiful bridge. Pointy wouldn't fit my face well

Trust me on this one, save your money. I had a consult with Dr. Hamilton but decided to go with another surgeon because he was closer to home. Now I am saving up for a revision with Dr. Hamilton. Make sure whoever you decide to go to has experience with ethnic rhinoplasty or else you will shopping for a revision. Good Luck and remember you only have one face!

Yep.. its very frustrating that most plastic surgeon keep the black rhinoplasty pics off their website. For example in Beverly hills there are so many docs that brag about performing ethnic rhinoplasty then you go their page and there's one black person and several middle-easterner and no Asians....LOL!!!!

I'm have full faith in Dr. Hughes. I talked with him and seen his work. I love Dr. Hamilton but want something a bit more drastic than Dr. Hamilton will want to perform. I don't want to look like Janet but I would like a cuter refined tip.

Dr. Dhir doesnt have much reviews though and his instagram for ethnic noses isnt the best if your wanting dramatic results.

He does. He has many revisions on his Instagram, alot of them on very bad primary rhinoplasties, and they look amazing.

His work looks very good..but I'd want my surgeon to be close by for checkups and if I have any concerns

yeah...that's whats kept me from entertaining the thought of an overseas doc, as well
