WORTH IT
I have a head wrap on because I also had lipo suction under my chin/jaw...You wouldn't need a wrap if just getting nose done

Tips and cons
1. Continue to sleep elevated at least weeks after...
2. Ice as much as you can...something that's soft and can conform to nose (nothing hard)
3. Try not to bend over. You will feel serious pressure and start pain
4. Don't blow your nose for at least a month...clean it out with q-tip and peroxide
5. When you sneeze, let it out!! Don't try and be cute and hold it in
6. Take Arnica tablets to assist in the reduction of swelling/bruising
7. Have chap stick and water handy, since you will be breathing out of your mouth for a while
8. Use nasal saline mist to help moisturize insides
Cons:
Breakout from lack of being able to thoroughly wash or scrub face
My nose piercing hole was closed/sutured inside (have to wait about 6 months to re-pierce) :-(

Rhino-Septoplasty update
I decided to get this procedure done because, after many years of my snoring getting worse, me having to take allergy medicine everyday in order to breathe and getting sinus infections, it was a time for me to get it out the way, especially prior to starting a family. With regards to the Rhinopasty part of it, I always was very self conscious of how my profile looked. I would avoid at all costs taking pictures at a side view. My Dad has a hump as well, which comes from having Native American in our blood. I am proud of my heritage, but as a woman it always bothered me and was something that constantly bothered me. Before the surgery, I was having anxiety that I would regret the decision to change something of my identity, but post surgery, my anxiety subsided because Dr. Obeng did such a good job and made it so it was subtle enough not to make me look completely different and loose myself. Therefore, I am so happy I went through with it.

Excited to see your post-op results! Happy healing. :)
