I've always been active and in the past few years focused my workouts to my abs and my glutes. However as I aged I noticed it became harder to tighten and sculpt my booty and that I had slight saddle bags and lovehandles unless I was really working out extra hard, and consistently.

I saw before and after photos of bbl's and considered it. After a consultation I was convinced that I could achieve a natural looking improved booty, smaller waistline, and that once the fat is transferred you don't gain weight in those areas where fat was removed as much since those fat cells have transferred to another region.

Recovery time wasn't bad, I was definitely swollen for a few months but the compression garments helped. I bought a lot of loose long dresses and baggier pants, and got a booty pillow to sit on while driving.

Now my waist is more defined, my booty is rounder and higher, and it looks totally natural because of my amazing doctor, Dr. Barrett. I was worried I didn't have enough fat to make it worth the trouble, but even though my butt isn't as big as it could have been if I had been an extra 15-20 lbs heavier, but my silhouette is so much better that my butt looks better and bigger just because my waist is smaller!

If you don't mind me asking, how tall are you and what did you weigh prior to surgery. I'm active in the gym and have always been. I'm not where i want to be and it is taking longer for me to whip myself in shape as well. Obviously, getting older does not help either. I was asked to gain ten pounds and that has been a challenge. I've decreased working out minimally but I actually don't want to stop working out. Any suggestions?
