I don't know how to describe my disappointment. I went to Dr. Ardesh with problems breathing out of one side of my nose. He recommended rib graft I told him i didn't want a piece of me missing so he said he could get irradiated rib from a deceased person. He said he'd make it just a bit wider in the middle vault. I agreed. Surgery day came and before I went in he told me he didn't like the pieces of irradiated rib so he must use mine he obviously wasn't prepared..... Feeling as tho it was my last resort I agreed. I once had a very good looking skinny nose with great definition and very aestheticly pleasing that fit my face all that is gone now. Horrified at the post op result I thought It was just swelling he didnt see me for 3 months after the 2 pieces of tape removal what doctor waits that long to see a patient fresh from surgery? It says alot... I now have a very very large bulbous uneven nose that has had the tip collapse downward to my columella under the enourmous weight of my nose. There is no definition it looks more like a sasauge no tip or nothing just a straight sasauge. and looks as if my nose has fell over to one side. Along with a inverted v dassuage. Uneven nostrils and a recessed nostril deformed isn't a strong enough word. It makes me wonder if these reviews on here are even real. There is so much rib cartilage and badly placed grafts I can't imagine anyone letting this doctor work on them my nose actually hurts when I touch it I can feel all the graphs.. My confidence has plummeted I no longer can look people in the eye I've lost all motivation. Girls no longer look at me I've lost all my appeal all because i trusted this doctor to help me breath out of the right side of my nose. 9 months later there has been no change only regret. I wouldn't let this doctor touch someone I care about with a 10ft pole. I guess I can be thankful he didn't puncture my lung with the rib graft. That small scar he said is a giant depression o forgot to mention that to doctor I see. Anyone of those things would of turned me away from the surgery but he didn't inform me of the true complications. Thx for ruining my life.
