Checked in for my first treatment last Thursday. ...

Checked in for my first treatment last Thursday. I have read every thing I can find on this procedure. I was fascinated by the fact that Whoopi Goldberg and Dr. Oz both seem to think it works. I'm definitely not interested in any kind of invasive surgery so it was between this and cool sculpting. I spoke with a couple of doctors offices and noticed right away that they would lean in the direction of what their office offered, slightly ridiculing the one they didn't offer. The reason I chose the doctor I chose was because he refused to say anything bad about cool sculpting. He thought it worked well and had nothing to say about it, but said he chose Vanquish because of the results he saw with his own eyes. His office assistant was kind enough to show me her before and after photos and wow! The icing on the cake was the amazing offer he had running for $1900.00. Everyone else I visited charged in the range of $2500-$3000 for 4 session with an additional charge for extra sessions if needed.

I had my first session on the same day I visited the doctors office. The first thing they did was take my measurements and weigh me in, as well as check my hydration levels. The doctor said his most successful clients were the ones who drank huge amounts of water. I'm one of those.. I drink about a gallon of water a day, so that wasn't an issue.

They were supposed to take before photos before the treatment, but they forgot and took them at the end of the first session. They didn't seem to think it would make a difference, but I kind of do! When I stood up after the last session (perhaps it's my imagination), I definitely felt a flatter stomach. I almost wonder if this is because the machine sucks water out of this area? Hmm.. probably my imagination- but I felt flatter already and they took the photos then. I will get these and my measurements and share later.

I was terrified almost to the point of shaking as I laid on the bed. I had read so much about hot spots and burning, I thought for sure I'd be one of those people. I am very VERY fair skinned and always burn under the sun. I was shocked.. it was honestly what I had read from many other people. Completely relaxing, warm and comfortable. As a kid, I laid under tanning beds and I can definitely compare it to that. *Only the part that you are laying under, that gets warm, only covers your belly and sides.

It's been almost five full days since the treatment. I am following a healthy diet, exercise and lots of water program, but I've already lost about a pound and 1/2 AND I am loving what I see in the mirror.

I will keep you posted. Fingers crossed that this really is the magic pill. I might be able to deal with all these hot flashes if I don't cringe every time I put on jeans. :)

So far, I'm loving the office assistant who sits with me the entire procedure. I'll share the Doctor and the Assistant's name after I'm done with my last session..
