I Can't Believe I'm Finally Doing This! - Bethesda, MD

Hello,
I am new here, but have been reading lots of posts here and have been encouraged to finally find the courage to do what I have always wanted to do. My kids are 13 and 11 and ever since I had my second child, I've longed for a flat stomach. In my pregnancies I gained over 60 lbs with the first and 40 lbs with the second. Unfortunately, that did a number on my stomach muscles and skin. I am at a stable weight and kept telling myself that I wanted to lose more weight before I considered a tummy tuck, but recently decided to not wait anymore and just go for it. Just the idea of not walking around with my two jelly rolls makes me so happy. Happy, but still very nervous about this decision. Today I told my manager at work and paid for my deposit. I can't believe this is happening and it all feels so surreal. If anybody has any tips on what I can do to prepare for this, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Bed Lounger?

BlessednGrateful
I've read that a recliner is recommended, but my house is not that big, so I prefer to sleep in my own bed. Can anyone recommend a bed lounger or pillow wedge that worked well after surgery? I appreciate any feedback you could give me.

I ordered a zero gravity chair from Walmart's website for $38 today. For some reason only the black one is at that price. I hope it works!!

I got a recliner in the end of eBay but people use deck chairs with lots of pillows witch can recline or you need to use lots of pillows if u are going to sleep in your bed

2 weeks left, OMG!!

So 2 weeks from tomorrow will be the big day!! I'm getting nervous and sometimes I wonder if I'm doing the right thing by going through with it. Looking at my stomach in the mirror then reminds me that yes I'm doing the right thing. Today I paid for the surgery in full so no turning back now. My husband doesn't seem to want to discuss it. I was wondering if he was mad I'm doing this, but he replied by saying that he's not mad just nervous. I'm going to pray for peace and strength!! I wish I could fast forward to it to get it over with.
