Day 19
Hi everyone! Sorry it took so long to update, I'm moving soon and taking care of everything has been quite the adventure!
Here are some pictures I took a few mins ago. I had my compression garment tighten yesterday, so there are a still a few marks, but one more week and it should be ok. I go there once a week, and the 2 days after I always feel like I'm suffocating, but then when it's time to tighten up again I can tell there's a huge difference in the volume, which I guess it's a good sign. Been keeping up the water intake and the diet, haven't worked out as much as I'd like to, but almost 3 weeks in and there's a 3kg difference already! Woohoo! The swelling varies from day to day, but so far it's been positive. 3 more weeks and 3 more garment tightenings to go, and I'm out of this damn thing, thank god!
Have a nice week, y'all :)

Day 3 Post-OP (I'm in awe!)
Today morning I went for my first post OP consultation. The doctor said there was minimal bruising and that the results were already visible! It only gets better from here on out. I was super excited. Especially when I heard the part that today I already could take a shower, which is good because I smell like wet dog. I took the pictures after taking off the garment for the first time and heading to the shower (also the garment was rinsed, soaped and is now drying, thank god). I already notice a huge difference, and there is only a bit of bruising by the side of my thighs (the garment doesn't cover it). What do you guys think? Oh and I also just realized that the only pain meds I took since the surgery was one I got from the nurse when I was leaving... no wonder I could barely move these last few days, but on the other hand I got to rest a bit more. Also today, taking the subway, I was sweating like a hog! I think it was the most exercise I've had since surgery day.
Day 1 - Post OP
Hey everyone! Day one, I'm a bit swollen, but I'm doing ok. Hurts a bit to walk, but was very productive - went to the Post and cooked, but always slowly and resting in between. My cold compresses never leave my side and I'm always rotating them from the fridge to the couch. Yesterday I was a bit weak and pale, mostly because of the blood loss through the fluid, but now I'm much better. I'm a bit bruised on the top of my thighs, but the doctor said that'd be normal. Still haven't taken off the garment, but I can see an improvement in the silhouette (comparing to the time I first tried and bought it).
I'm eating lots of fruits, drinking water, taking my supplements, eating pineapple and applying the arnica cream every once in a while. Have a nice weekend, I'll keep you posted for tomorrow!

Provider Review
Dr Marco Gregori
He speaks both German and English, and is incredibly informative and helpful. I'm very looking forward to surgery day. Already have my compression garment (had a discount at the store recommended by the Clinic).
