I had always been well endowed since the age of 16...

i had always been well endowed since the age of 16 and envied my friends who had smaller breasts as they could wear anything. I struggled to find dresses to fit me on top and not look like a tent below my waist. Post menopause the y became larger and I was a 32F cup and a size 8 bottom. At only 5 foot this was uncomfortable. I had a chance conversation with a colleague who had a breast reduction following considerable weight loss when her breasts had remained very large. She was so positive about the outcome and the low level of pain that it encouraged me to proceed. Oh how I wish, like other women, that I had this done much earlier. I did the usual research, including this site, and decided on Mr Adrian Richards at Aurora clinics based on his honest and lack of hard sell approach together with his obvious job satisfaction from carrying out the breast reduction procedure. I was also encouraged by the fact that he had performed a substantial amount of reductions with positive outcomes. I had my consultation on Dec1st 2014 and booked myself in for surgery on January 20th. All went well, I had a premed to relax me and drifted off to sleep. I awoke to find Mr Richards advising me that all went well and I was remarkably pain free. As the local anaesthesia administered during the operation wore off, I felt slight discomfort which was relieved by paracetamol. My wound sites were fine, no oozing and healed very well. I will be 6 weeks post surgery in 3 days and am very pleased with the appearance of my breasts and my uncomplicated recovery. I was Sen by Sinead, the most brilliant nurse, 2 weeks after the surgery, when one breast was slightly larger than the other and slight puckering. Sinead reassured me that this was normal and by 2 weeks later it had resolved. I saw Mr Richards 5 weeks post my surgery as it was more convenient for me to see him in Harley Street. He was very pleased with the result and my recovery and I can now wear normal bras and return to the gym. I have been bra shopping which is heaven as I can buy Princess Tam Tam with tiny straps.....
I cannot express enough my gratitude to Mr Richards, Sinead and all of the staff I met through Aurora as the experience and outcome were so positive. I have discovered a whole new wardrobe of clothes which now fit. Friends and colleagues remark on how well I look and just think that I have lost weight. I am now a 32C in most bras and a D in some and for my frame this is perfect.
I would encourage others who are considering the operation to just do it!
Sorry I have not attached a photo as I am not good with them but my before and after will appear on the Aurora website

Very professional, encouraging, reassured me that I was not being vain and that my breasts were too large for my frame. Very pleasant bedside manner which put me at ease despite being scared of the anaesthetic. The anaesthetist was also very reassuring and I am grateful to her.
