Why Did I Wait So Long? - Berkeley Heights, NJ

I had neck lift surgery on December 14, 2015 and honestly it was the best thing I ever did. I don’t know why I waited so long but I think it was fear of the unknown that kept me from doing it sooner. My doctor was Dr. Reza Momeni of the Plastic Surgery Center at Summit Medical Group in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Dr. Momeni is extremely patient and kind, and explained everything in detail to me before the surgery. His office is immaculate and the staff is wonderful. The patient scheduler handled everything from A to Z, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing.
I very happy with the result I’ve gotten even though I’m still experiencing some swelling and tenderness under my chin and around my ears at six weeks out. My advice to anyone considering this type of surgery is to remember everybody heals at a different rate. I was told by Dr. Momeni it would 1 to 3 months before the swelling was completely gone, and he is correct. I’m halfway there in time and almost all the swelling is gone. I’m already loving the results. Be patient because it is worth it. This surgery has taken years off my appearance.
