After reseaching products, I decided to have belotero in the tear troughs and juvaderm in the lips. I went to the office of Dr. Christine Rodgers here in Denver and Katie her PA took care of me. When I left that day i thought one eye looked better than the other and my lips were ok, nothing great. I called and went back in again because I was not satisfied and you can guess...the office manager met with me and said Katie felt I really needed Radiesse in the cheeks to help with the appearance of my eyes and they would give me a syringe free and recommended more belotero in the eye area, more juvaderm in the lip area. No way was this a good idea or necessary. I ended up bruising badly for over three weeks. They gave me some freebies at the time and scheduled me for an IPL (which they call BPL). I called in because I was upset with all the bruising and swelling that was lasting much longer than she had indicated. I went back in for my checkup and the trainee met with me. I told her that my eyes were not looking right and my marionette lines did not appear to be as soft as I had hoped. Katie did not come in to see me until the newly trained nurse called her in to verify that she had done the marionette lines. She told me 'well we can fix all this in six months, at least it is softened', and we can do IPL and some filler in the jowl area. I guess sales in the bottom line which is sad because Dr. Rodgers has a good reputation. Of course you never see her. It is not that they are are not personable, it is like they are
'used car salespeople' pushing procedures.

I went to a different doctor today. The nurse who worked with me informed me that belotero would not fix my problem, only a blephoplasty would. She did complete my lips today and they look great. I would NOT recommend Dr. Rodgers office to anyone in Denver. I did refer a friend there but thankfully only the one. She was turned off by the constant 'upselling' of procedures and products as well. I will post pictures soon!

I'm sorry you didn't get the results you wanted.  Do you have some pics you could share so we can see what you are talking about?

Please call the office, so I can read the recommendations Katie suggested for you. Three different times a blephoplasty was a topic of conversation. We even had you speak with Diane, our Surgical Scheduler regarding what would be the best plan for optimum results. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concerns. We pride ourselves on the creating the very best individualized plan for each patient and we adjust the plan for the comfort level of every patient. Katie is one of the most honest people I have ever come across and she would only offer something that would help you correctively to achieve noninvasive, optimum results. Again, please call the office so we may address your concerns. Also, with your written permission I would happily post your before and after photos.

I have been a patient for 3 years and have NEVER felt like anyone was upselling me! I had my tear troughs done as well and they look amazing! In fact, I have always felt that Katie was really honest with me about what would work or not work for some of my concerns.
