WORTH IT
Unfortunately my scar is getting thick again. Hopefully steroid injections will help!

Fingers crossed
Going back tomorrow for another revision! The plan is to revise and stay on top of the scar during the healing process with steroid injections.

How is it going?
Did the plastics charge you for the revision? Mine is kind of doing the same thing. He put a steroid in it about 2 weeks ago and told me to massage the area. I think it might need a revision. Thanks! Hope you get the result your looking for...
How are you doing? I have same issue and had steroid shots for 3tines. Unfortunately my keroid got thick. I decided not to touch anymore.
It's turning into a keloid again unfortunately. I have appointment set up with my dermatologist to get steroid injections. Normally my PS would take care of it but I am out of town.
When they opened your belly button back up did it hurt? Any down time?
She numbed me up and I didn't feel anything painful! It wasn't bad at all!

A little over 7 weeks
My belly button looked perfect after my procedure. Now my scar is thickening despite using silicone scar gel. Is there anything I can do? Or have to have it redone again?

I am so sorry. I am considering redoing mine but I am afraid it might end up worse. Any update?
Have you ever had it redone? There is a good chance that it might heal great! Sometimes the scar thickens because there is so much tension after a tummy tuck. If you get it redone there won’t be the tension like there was while recovering from the tummy tuck. I had a steroid injection done a week ago. Still no changes but they said it could take up to 4 weeks to see a difference and also it may take a few times! I’m also going to try some essential oils soon.
How are you now? How many weeks after surgery was this?
That picture was 7 weeks. Unfortunately my belly button is completely closed again
I had the same thing happen to me... my bb was flat and off center. My doc used the 4 flap method to making a new bb. It's no perfect but 100 percent better then what it was.
