I had the procedure done 2 years ago, the countour of my face was changed, now one side of my face is different than the other and there is nothing you can do to remove it. The Company that manufactures this product is not doing well and there are reasons for it. I won't EVER RECOMMEND THIS GARBAGE TO ANYONE. At one point, about 6 months after the procedure was done, my entire face was so swollen, I could barely open my eyes and there is nothing they can do to remove it.

Hi. I agree with you. This is cement that goes into your face. I had 13 vials put in my face including under eyes..nasal labials, 1 syringe around the border of lips. And marioneette lines...my face just kept getting more swollen...my injector a doctor told me that it was due to weight gain...it looked like my face was on steeoids..i had my surgery to remove all of it on april 6. 3 weeks ago....my doctor slit under my eyes and pulled my skin back and scraped it out from under eyes, the scars are very minimal, then he slit in my lips. He scraped it out of bottom of lip...top lip didnt have any..he then stated he would get the other area and cut me open like a face lift.It was too embedded in the other area. I asked him to save what he took out which he did...it is gross...i developed granuloms. And one was the size of 6-7 peas mashed together or more....this is the only way to get this cement out...i am pleased with my plastic surgeon and healing well...i am concerned about the artefil still left in me

Sorry to hear about your problems with Bellafill. I hope all goes well with your healing process. I'd like to know the name of the doctor who removed your Bellafill. I had Bellafill injected into my eye trough and have been diagnosed with biofilm. I will need to have it removed. I really look forward to hearing back from you.

He is out of office for 2 more weeks. Just start calling around and ask them if they have ever removed arterial if not go to next. Don't let them talk you into steroid injections. You want surgery. Then when I found a few I consulted with them and talked to a patient of dr seiviking

You have provided some great information! I wonder if it's more difficult to remove from the cheeks and chin... Those are the areas that I have the most problems with. Mine are constantly swelling from this product... so frustrating and unpredictable. I wish I could protect every single person against this product. The information provided leading patients to believe it's safe is so unethical.

Yours may not be embedded like mine is...surgical removal is probably best option. You may want to find plastic surgeon in your area.

Hi did i have bellefill under my eyes as well it is behaving like a hylauranic acid filler now it has water retention around it i am wondering if this is biofilm as well Collidal silver is effective i hear at treating biofilm it can bust through the walls it creates I am going to start treating with collidal silver to see if my swelling goes down some 4 tablespoons daily for a week

I'm so sorry you've had such a terrible experience. Bellafill is a nightmare... the same thing happened to me. I now know that swelling even many years after the injections is very common. Unpredictable swelling, discomfort, looks different from day to day, those are some common side effects. Are you still having issues and have you found that anything that helps?

Hi how was your doctor able to remove the filler without removing some of your tissues since it was embedded in? Did it look like a white bump before you removed it?

Please make sure you file your complaint with the FDA! Nothing will ever change if we're not a joint force. Just so you know there are treatment options available for you. I've been traveling to Italy for a laser micro drainage procedure where the product is actually melted out of my face. The only way your symptoms will resolve is to have the product removed. Please let me know if I can help.
