Been BUSY!

WORTH IT$19,000
I haven't posted for a couple weeks.... I've been busy!
I feel almost back to myself, just get little twinges of pain every now and then.
Yesterday was my 3-week post op appointment, and they removed my steri strips and I go the next week with none. Just my garment and soft bra.
After my 1-month post op next week they clear me to go to the gym and start slow! I CAN NOT WAIT!!!
I'm certainly swollen, my nurse said I still have about 50% swelling, some can stick around for up to 6 months.
I have worn jeans a few times, but its not the most comfortable thing on my incision.

I am so glad I did this surgery and love my results thus far. I am so excited to see my body in a few months when swelling subsides and I'm back to Crossfit!

You look GREAT!
Thanks for the update. Happy to hear all is progressing well. Best wishes for continued good healing. Keep posting, it's inspiring ;-)
Congrats on steri strip removal! How is your incision line looking to you? Great to read you're loving your results :) The swelling comes and goes for me, but even swollen I'm smaller than I was pre op, lol, so I try and keep that in mind.. I've also noticed that if a type of food made me a little bloated pre op, I'll swell pretty good if I eat it post op. there just isn't the room in there for bloat any more :) I know it must be difficult with little ones, but remember to rest! Your body still needs it, though you seem to be coming through this like a real trooper! All the best, xo
looking good girl!! how are you feeling?
Thank you for sharing your story! Please update us on your further results. I just had a consultation with Dr. Egrari...I would love to have the same results as you!

Went to the mall for 3 hours....

BECAUSE IM CRAZY!!!

umm I know I've slept through most of December, but APPARENTLY it's almost Christmas! Lol.

I was totally good (pushing a stroller) for the first hour and a half. But the last hour and a half I whined more than a menstrating 13 year old girl!!!

Came home and napped an hour and now just feeling a little "tight" around my incision. Anyone else experience that?

Xoxo

Looking good...better every day! But slow down there girlie, don't tire yourself out too much. Course it's hard to not wanna go out near the holidays, ;-). Take care and continued great healing. Happy Holidays ;-)
3 hours?? Thats crrrazy silly girl!! Glad you're home and resting and of course you feel tight - your muscles are protesting! Pop a pain pill and have a glass of coconut juice and stay in bed!
Glad you are doing well. My upcoming surgery is about the same group of procedures. How long were you in surgery total? I'm nervous about being under for so long, est 6-7 hrs. Down to 5 days before surgery
Wow your ps did an amazing job! I'm so happy for your successful makeover. I am so nervous for mine!

12 Days Post Op! Yippee!

I'm back in Bellevue for the weekend because I have my 2 week post op appointment Monday!
5.5 hours in the car because of snow, I certainly get"tighter" when I am not able to get up and move around!
I'm only sleeping 5 hours at night (typically I sleep 9pm-7am), mainly because I can't get comfortable.
But I am feeling GREAT! I do notice I get easily upset/sad but that's apart of this process, huh?

You look great. I am 2 days post op and I love walking around, feels good. Also, you don't realize how much you use your abs for. When I lay down, feels like my stitchesare rripping but I know they're not. I'm still in the garment and don't want to take it off just yet for a shower. I'm waiting til after my post op on Monday. Happy Healing for you
Thank you!! I know, I still feel like they are ripping sometimes! I hate that feeling! That's probably why I'm still a little hunched over...
