How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Before photos - as per requests

Very few women would wish to have unattractive photos of themselves on display on the Internet - forevermore, however, I understand the desire to see BEFORE snaps. Two were taken at the doctor's office BEFORE my procedure and these are arguably the most ghastly photos of me ever taken...perhaps a ruse to get me to go through with the procedure? I jest. I'll also attach BEFORE photos taken at home...not quite as fierce looking as the photos taken by my doctor! Not as close up, either? In any case, the procedure definitely refreshed.

At age 71 (4 years post surgery)

Four years after my face lift and at age 71, I'm feeling fortunate to have had the procedure. The one obstacle I encountered - gaining weight! I remarried in 2018 to a wonderful man - who happens to be a marvelous chef - and so he happily does all the cooking and I've been incredibly well fed...but the snag is - one doesn't want to gain weight. The pandemic kept us at home too much...and with too little exercise so it's imperative that we change our ways...silly to go to the trouble of a procedure like this - only to get fat!!! So I'm back to lap swimming...my daughter (who married the year I had my procedure) will have her second baby in March and once again all the family will gather to celebrate - husbands #1 & #2 will come from London and Eastern Washington with their wives...and I intend to be fit for the reunion...and also I will be helping my daughter with her new baby so that requires a degree of fitness too. My message today is - once you undergo a procedure like this - don't get overweight as it's hard to take off the weight and, of course, weight ruins "the new you"...so I managed to curb my appetite just in time!

Now at age 69

I am glad I had my procedure as I continue to look and feel younger than my years. If you can afford it, I say - go for it! Since my surgery - I recovered, traveled a bit, met a wonderful partner and on July 4th we celebrate our first year of marriage. Life is good!

Dr. Naficy isn't a warm and fuzzy practitioner. He's direct, efficient, to the point - not one to chat or waste time on anything other than explaining the procedure and options. When I was in pain, he immediately addressed the situation and ordered additional ( and effective) medication - he was receptive and attentive to my needs, but always totally professional in a somewhat aloof manner. That is not to say he isn't a nice guy - he is. But he's a busy man and he is not one to shoot the breeze or listen to idle conversation.
