Try to make this short. Had bad dark bags under eyes. I wanted them gone. I had very pretty, large almond eyes. I asked my surgeon if this would change and he gave me a DEFINITE "No." and even chuckled. There was no "Maybe..." or "Its always a risk." He also insisted on upper cheek fat, and convinced to get it after I tried to cancel that procedure. I trusted him and he relied on that.
After the surgery I looked like a freak, and family and coworkers we're shocked. My eyes we're quite round, with one having such severe scarring that it refused to raise. My smile looked distorted and over-filled. He insisted this was normal and it would change with massage. Each time I went for an appointment after that the stories changed from "Well we might need to do some shots in the scarring..." which I refused after the first one because he failed to explain to me the many risks (I had to look them up and ask other surgeons myself). Then he said I would need a "simple" second revision. Then, as I continued to go for many visits and was quite distressed, the whole staff began treating me as a nuisance and I was then told I would need a very complex revision. As I repeatedly asked for my medical paperwork, there were many reasons it was not given. As it finally got sent to me (on about my fifth phone call) it was so plain and basic I didn't believe it was it. I went to several oculoplastic surgeons after who said I had a very poor result and would need an extensive revision, which might not come out how I want. When they would ask me for the medical paperwork and I handed it them, they all insisted that couldnt be it and that it was not NEAR thorough enough. On my final visit to my original surgeon, I, again, requested the medical paperwork and they rudely told me that the procedure is "so common that that is all that is needed for it." This leads me to believe I received not a personalized, but cookie-cutter procedure. It was then a fiasco from there. The doctor that had initially been nice to me, but whose bedside manner had been waning upon each visit and call after, became incredibly rude and dismissive after I requested a refund. (I did not even request a refund for the fat injections, which are horrible and I have written about in another review). As I'm crying, he is forcibly trying to convince me I look the same and he did a good job. I kept saying I wanted to leave but he and his staff insisted, repeatedly, that I stay to view my before and after photos and come to a solution. I really wanted to go but they were so insistent I decided to comply. He then brought me into a room and pointed at my pictures and said "See, they are the same." I'm looking at my eyes but they look like two different sets. He then, finally, agreed that there is a "slight difference" but then insists he did a good job. His assistant then asked me if I wanted to go into another room and discuss the cost of a revision. COST? I'm gone. She then calls me a week later and says she wasn't sure why she was calling but saw she had a note to call me. Thanks. I said I'm done with them. So I've had to deal with a bad result (deemed so by every oculoplastic surgeon I have seen since), and dealing with the betrayal of a seemingly nice surgeon, who it turns out wasn't. Hope he spent that few thousand well. Didn't know he was so hard up for it.
It has been well over a year and everything has settled, and I now have to deal with the mediocre results. Love to hear a response to that.

Was kind until I explained my dissatisfaction and wanted a refund. He then became immature, cold and petty, making negative side remarks and continually making me stare at pictures of my own face while trying to convince me there is no change. The whole incident was incredibly jarring and neither he nor his staff have made any attempts to improve things.
