I have had ptosis of my left eyelid since childhood and I have always wanted it fixed. Now that I have a child, I disliked how it looked in pictures with her and when people wonder where my child got her blue eyes from, I wanted them to know it was from me. The external repair procedure was quick and surprisingly pain free.
