Congratulations. They look huge. Was it sub muscular or sub glandular or dual plane?
it was sub muscular
Does that mean under the muscle? They look awesome I would be jumping for joy with that look
Look wonderful.
WOW! Beautiful. Those could not have come out more perfect!! Congrats! :)
the swelling came down just a little and now I love them. It so fun trying on bras now. I bought a package of nipple covers for when I want to go braless. Now I have a choice of bras. ones that are 0/ sheer or ones with a thin layer of layer to hide the nibbles 400CC high Profile, textured is the way to go . incision under the breast, it has been I month now and I am ready to do stretches but no lifting yet. A little sore in the morning but nothing serious. I will post some pics later. It must be silicone!!!
That's great to hear! I still haven't went bra shopping except for one trip to VS to get measured. I'm 10 weeks post-op (lift w/ implants). I went MP and not HP and I think I made the wrong decision. As much as the improvement for me is night and day, I'm not thrilled and loving them like you are loving yours. I can't wait to see updated pics!! :)

BA. 57 yrs 5' 2" 101 lbs. just do it

Decided on 400cc high profile, textured. My doc said high textured is less likely to drop down due to my age

Congratulations for making the decision. I have high profile (teardrop) implants. It means they will project more forward than a moderate profile implant of the same volume. You seem to have loose skin on your breasts. It looks like a good choice.
going out today to buy a sports bra. I am so excited. When a told a few friend about my ba, I didn't get a lot of support. comments range from "at your age?, you don't need, your clothes wont fit. That was several months ago and my BA was cancelled to my medical history. I now found a new doctor, ang give the OK from my dr specialist and have not told anyone this time. Only my husband you has been a great support.
I don't understand the "at your age?" argument. It says more about the person making the question than anything else. It's not as if you have one foot in the grave. When I was skiing in Europe, I noticed many wrinkly women on skis enjoying themselves. If you are not dead, then you have plenty of living to do. Regarding clothes, if your shoulders are quite broad, you might find some of your old clothes will fit. Broad shoulders require broader clothes to accommodate them. After the augmentation, I did not need new blouses because there was enough fabric already.
Good for you! I had just turned 50 when I got my girls last yr. We are about the same size but I didn't go that big. I just wanted to fill up what I had i got 300 cc's and did
not need a lift. Good luck happy boob dreams till your day
i am lucky to that i do not need a lift. I hope that i am not going to big. Bui i have always worn heavy padded bra ever since having an illness 5 years ago and was hospitalized for 3 months. I lost a lot of muscle and tissue in my breast and self confidence. I am hoping this will help. I just love this site.
Happy Halloween. 2 bars pre-post. Started my meds. Dr z. Gave my some Valium got the night before and day of surgery. Mt surgery is at 8.30am. I look in the mirror and said good bye baby boobs it's time to upgrade
Thank you both! I am going in in the morning and am 57. Scared what people will think. But agree It's my life so whatever. Also super afraid of the pain! I am doing small. I am 5'4' and 112 pounds so would line it took natural. Wish me luck!!

I have interviewed 6 different doctors and done lots of research. Ladies what your thoughts on do high profile vs round silicone, about 350-375 CC. At my age would high profile look to pointy for me. But round on my small frame may not look HWP for me, with to much boob for my width. I now wear a 34B. Not bad size, but if i don't do it now, ill regret it in 10-15 years. I send photo later

@patti lyn, your question needs to be further clarified. A high profile implant can either be round or teardrop shaped. A round implant can have any of these profiles: low, moderate, moderate plus, high, ultra high. There really is not enough information in your post for anyone to give an informed opinion.

We really need to know about more about you such as your height, weight, breast width, lifestyle and what kind of look you are seeking. Whether something looks too pointy or not is quite subjective. If you like that look, then it does not matter what someone else thinks of it. If you have already spoken to six doctors, then they should have covered these matters with you already. No one can make up your mind for you.
Here is a picture of my Breast now
I cannot see the picture. Did you click on "select files" to add the picture?

Your right, life is too short. I'm 61 and just receive by new boobs on 9/16/15. After many years of putting it off I finally decided it's time. I'm not getting younger and love the beach but was always self conscience of my small boobs 36A but now I'm looking forward to this summer to be able to feel confident in my bathing suit. I went with 425cc smooth, moderate profile and under the muscle which was recommended to me by my surgeon and I couldn't be happier. My only regret was that I didn't do them sooner. Good luck.
