Finally there!!

WORTH IT$25,000
Hey everyone! It's been so long since i posted an update! Im not sure i shared this before but one of my main reasons for wanting this procedure was so I can smile as big as I felt on my wedding day. I waited 8 years for this and didn't want to hide how happy I truly was. My big day arrived and I was even more happy with my decision for this surgery. We followed up with an 8 day honeymoon in Negril Jamaica and I smiled so much my face hurt lol for anyone considering this procedure, my advice... DO IT! you'll be so happy you did. Tips would be to find a great surgeon and gave a dependable support person.

Congratulations! Could you tell me what your routine is for cleaning your all-on-four? I use a Water Pic but feel like I am not getting all the debris out.

Thank you,

Closer to getting my perms!

blasianbeauty21
Its been a while since I've updated. Everything is pretty much the same. My temps have been great but I'm looking forward to finally getting my permanents. I have become a water flossing pro! Only concern is my black eyes have still not fully gone away. Makeup works wonders but id like to not have to do my makeup everyday. Im starting to feel the roof of my mouth with my tongue and can tell where the arch and implants are which is annoying but hard to stop touching it haha. Other than that I'm doing great and loving the new smile!

Hey Blasianbeauty21! I had all on 6 (upper and lower) on January 19! Its great, isn’t it?!?! Yesterday I went in for a check up because I am headed to Asia for a long work trip. I just love my doc. He did a full scan to check my progress, did a thorough inspection of my temps and then surprised me with a relign (or is it reline). The space was something I had adjusted to but it feels great to have the appliance all the way to my gums. He’s going to do the bottom for me next week. Smiling in the mirror, I still can’t believe how good they look. You look fabulous! I should be getting my perms in June but I’m in no rush. The longer we wait, the better the fit. Bone continues to shift for a LONG time after teeth are pulled. I had 19 teeth pulled. I’m not sure about other temps, but mine were most certainly not off the shelf. I selected my color, teeth style and had impressions for fitting. My temps were full dentures, made for me, with some special strengthening fibers added. Then, they removed the roof of the mouth and drilled the holes for the screws. So these fit well and look good. My first temp was pitched too far forward, so he made a new one that sits correctly. It sounds like your dentist did something similar? I believe people who are going from dentures to all on 4-5-6 are better suited for immediate permanents because the bone is not going to change so much after surgery. I’m so happy for all of us!

14 day post op

Today I went in for my 14 day post op appt. I'm healing fast thank God. Chewing is getting a little easier but the whole water flossing is a little weird for me. My next appointment isn't until April where they will take out my temps and clean them also grab some impressions to ensure my permenants see perfect. Install date for my permenants are in June. I hope they are less bulky then these temps although the temps they gave me are beautiful. I'm so grateful.
